Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

So to clarify please, if you choose to be at yc bus 45 minutes prior to mk 8 a.m. opening and don't have anything prepurchased in your room for a morning breakfast of oj/coffee/muffin type, where do you recommend to proceed?

I would suggest purchasing the night before and brewing coffee in your room. Or if you are arriving at the resort late the 1st night, having a grocery delivery already at the resort waiting for you so you have those items available.

Also, if I'm reading correctly, you want to be at the bus stop at 715, then just be at the doors before 7 so you can hustle in and grab your items and get on the way. It is like a 3min walk (max) to the bus stop from the market. My understanding is that the YC market is rather chaotic in the AM so you could also be at the BC market before opening and get in and out as that one is not so crazy since it is a much bigger space. Then plan to get on the BC bus, which again is like a 3min walk from the their market.

can someone give me information on the boardwalk bakery and current hours and what they have to offer? How far of a walk is it from yc? thank you!

Hours and the menu are on Disney’s website: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/d...OKC-90001311_GM_WDW_dining_boardwalkbakery_NA

You can look up walking directions/walk times in the app, although the time tends to be a little conservative/approximate - will depend on your walking speed and exact starting spot. If your room is more on the S/D side of Yacht Club, it would be better/shorter to walk the other way around the lake.

Going bcv June 12 to the 20. Anyone know what the pool hours will be then for SAB and when is pool likely to hit capacity? Okay with going to pool in morning if we have to but if pool isn't opening till 10 that's park time wasted. Plus we really prefer afternoon, but not of we cannot get in. Could go night too depending on when it closes. Is hurricane Hannah's gonna serve hot food again?
Anyone?

I’m sorry you’re feeling that way.

I went in February with my girlfriends and we had a wonderful time, with lots of laughs. Obviously, things are very different but it was so good for my soul to take a trip with my friends. I’m sorry you’re experience hasn’t been the same.
Same, we have been there twice, once In September for 11 days and we just went last month for 12. We had a blast. We went with a large group this time and we all had so much fun. I never argue with people about their perception of Disney. But will argue when people say” sorry that’s just the way it is” because it’s not that way to everyone obviously.

Their menu and hours are available on the my disney experience app. They do mobile order so it is very easy so plan in advance to what is available before going over there. That's what I would check for the most up to date offerings.

B 7-11 (this is standard disney breakfast hours)
L/D 11-10

It looks like they have a very small offering for breakfast. I would probably go over there to get a key lime tart but that is an all day thing. There is also banana bread and a brioche boston cream doughnut that sounds interesting.

There is an even smaller L/D offering. I have heard that they have a good italian sandwich so that might be worth trying.

Can you just walk into the marketplace and buy quick things like muffins, cereal etc or do you have to mobile order everything ??? Have not been there since covid

Just saw an article showing horrific long lines to get in to stormalong bay. Is anyone there now that can say just how long the wait is at peak times? We are booked for 10 days in September, so hoping it’s better by then, but really planning a lot of pool time so need a good plan maybe.

We just popped in last month while checking out the resort and we bought cupcakes and small stuff from cooler with no mobile order

There is literally no way to know what might happen in the future.

Hanna's is too small to open with social distancing so until those measures are lifted, it will not be opening.

The pool will be packed if the weather is nice and the parks are at capacity. Plus with the Beach Club being open, who knows how that will affect the capacity.

Both the YC and the BC marketplaces still have CMs at the register to take your orders. You do not have to mobile order your food like you do at so many other resorts we have been to. It is great. Outside of having a CM to serve your drinks, it is almost like the pre-Covid days. You can also use mobile ordering for your order.

No one really knows what the hours will be. I can speculate that with the warmer weather and longer days that SAB "may" open at 9:00 AM. I'm pretty confident in saying that it will stay open until 11:00 PM following the closing hours that are in place now.

If the kids are back in school then it won't be crowded at SAB. September is a low crowd period to begin with, so you should be fine at SAB in September.

The YC would prefer you mobile order as the location is really tight right now.

But the BC is fine either way. Just be aware that you have to pre-pay at the BC to get pastries and/or fountain/coffee drinks (hot food too).

Anything that is in the coolers or on the shelves you can bring to the register to pay for, like it was before.

We are going Labor Day week. :scared: We just dealt with the pool thing at CSR last month so we learned that the earlier you get there the better. In September we can do that. This time it was cold in the mornings

Yes, I know what they were asking about. I thought that your statement made it sound like Hurricane Hannah’s wasn’t open at all and I just wanted to mention that they were open for cold sandwiches and salads.

So if you are at the pool and want chicken tenders or whatever, is there any place nearby?
