Official 'how to get from point A to point B while at WDW' thread.

When travelling from Pop to HS in the morning do you need to exit and go to the back of the line at the CBR Skyliner hub?

Most times yes. Normally the first few gondolas to arrive from Pop/AoA are allowed to board DHS line immediately but the majority of guests go to the back of the CBR line but it moves quickly.

I have the same issue with an 8:30 reservation at Trattoria al Forno but staying at CBR. I guess if they won’t let you on the Epcot line, Plan B would be to take the Skyliner to DHS and walk or take the boat from there.
I have the same situation as above. What time should we get to the skyliner? I’m assuming the line to Epcot would not be long since the park doesn’t open until 11am and only those with ADRs are allowed on early?

Never having done it, I don’t know how early you’d have to get to the Skyliner. I have assumed that there is only one line to get into the Skyliner station and that the split to the Epcot or DHS line would come inside the station. If that’s the way it works, you’d be in the same line as the crowd heading to DHS for opening. If there are separate lines outside, the line for Epcot should be much shorter.

To be on the safe side I will probably get to the station early, like not much after 7:30, unless I learn when we’re there that there are separate lines. If we get to the Boardwalk early, it’s no punishment to hang out there for awhile, and often the restaurant will seat you early if you’re there early.

Does anyone think there would be anything worththe hassle vs uber/lyft for these problems? Have APs/Park Hoppers

Dinner @ Shula's - Staying at Jambo House - MK park day
Dinner @ Toppolino's - Staying at Jambo House - MK park day

I moved my park days around so that I could walk to DHS in the morning from BWV on the latter half of the trip. I'm wondering if it's worth bussing to AK and then to the hotels or bussing to Epcot/DHS and walking.

What is the best way to get from Boardwalk to Key West and then from Key West to Disney Springs?
Disney Springs bus to The Springs and then transfer to Old Key West bus. Then for the return just take a Disney Springs bus from OKW to The Springs. Currently the boats from OKW to The Springs are not running.

Anyone know when the monorail will be running to Epcot from the Transportation & Ticket Center and/or the resorts? We are staying at the VGF in July and don’t really want to be tied to taking a bus. TIA.

A re-opening date has not been announced so nobody really knows.

There hasn't been any announcement. It's going to depend on the social distancing that they keep in the trains. All of them are being used for the MK loops.

Okw to Disney springs, is there a way to walk? So disappointed the boats aren’t running
There was a little-known walkway several years ago; I don't know whether it's still there or open. The entrance was off the parking loop between buildings 54 & 55. There was a bridge across the canal (on a flood control gate IIRC), and then the path ran along the canal on the opposite side, along the edge of the golf course, to the Strawberry parking lot at DS. Walkers and runners were allowed to use the path, but forbidden to venture onto the golf course. The walk was about a mile.

Is it possible to be at Disney Springs and take the bus to Riviera Resort even if you're not staying there?

I will be at Dolphin and want to go from DS to Riviera and then take the Skyliner to Epcot.

I know it would be easier to take the bus directly to Dolphin but I want to ride the Skyliner at least once. ;)

Yes, no problem at all to do that!

We are considering a Saana lunch during the day we are at AK. We may have a car at the park, not sure. What would be the easiest way to get there? Walk? Car? Some form of Disney transport? We don’t mind taking a bit of time out of the park day, if it won’t take super long to get back and forth.

You can't walk, but I'd drive if you have a car or take the bus if you don't. If you have to pay for parking, make sure to keep the receipt so you don't have to pay a second time.
