What is the snack you just don't get the hype over? I know this has been posted before, but it has been a while so why not get some new takes. (I know Dole Whip is coming.)

Personally, mine are:

Schoolbread. I don't know what the excitement is over this treat. Stale dry roll with a dab of pudding. :sad2: Nope, I'll pass.

Churros. Don't get me wrong, one of my favorites at Disneyland, they do it right. Hot and fresh. WDW, is another story. Old, hard, and just plain sad.

Newest Addition: Egg Roll cart. Oh my goodness. What do people see in these greasy things? Yeah, I wasted $9.50 for two egg rolls and raised my fist cursing all those who said they were worth it. :rotfl: (Ok, I didn't really do that. But I shook my head saying people who like these are nuts. lol)

IMHO I find most Disney snacks overrated and overpriced. Mickey Pretzels... sorry just not that great, cute of course but not amazing I prefer the Wetzel Pretzels at Disney Springs or Downtown Disney. I will say I really enjoy a Dole Whip on a hot day, but at WDW they melt so fast, so I'd prefer them at Disneyland.

All of them. I just don't eat when I go to MK. Maybe a Dole Whip... but that is it.

Dole Whips
Rice Krispie Treats
Churros
Cronuts
Sprinkles cupcakes
Gideon's cookies

I have yet to try Gideon's. However, my sister tried it and said the cookies were alright, but their cake was the real deal. So much better than the cookies. :confused3

Rice Krispie Treats
Churros (except for the ones at Nomad Lounge - those are terrific)
Mickey Bars - they're fine, but nowhere near worth what they cost
And basically anything with blue curacao in it - bleh!

I like the Buffalo chicken ones when those are offered, but the standard cheeseburger ones are a nasty, greasy mess with an icky pickle flavor to boot! And when they have pepperoni, I’m not sure there is a more oily offering on site.

Most of the cupcakes. Caveat - I'm not much of a cupcake fan anyway as they always seem to dense and dry. The few I've tried have been more icing than cake and I'm not much of an icing fan since it tends to be too sweet.

I sort of agree with the poster that said all of them. We rarely eat snacks unless we are eating them as a meal so sweet things are rare. Sometimes I'll buy popcorn or a pretzel to hold me over if I'm eating a lupper (late lunch early supper combined) but that's just about it. I've found the meals tend to be way too much food so I don't really want or need a snack.

Any of the Disneyfied generic treats - Mickey bars, cupcakes, rice krispy treats (I can make them easily at home and they're even better because they're fresh).

Yes to cupcakes and krispy treats. I’ve yet to have a moist cupcake at Disney. They look pretty, but taste meh. And Krispy treats, agree 100%!

Dd is a sucker for the Mickey bar, and claims they taste better at the parks than the ones I can get at Kroger.😋

Agree totally on the Rice Krispie treats.
I don’t like cupcakes, but I understand why others like them. They are very cute

That cat tail thing in MK is gross

I had the "equivalent"-the Tiger Tail in Animal Kingdom, just as bad-tasteless.
I used to love carrot cake cookies, but the last one I had, just a few months ago, had a different filling, more like gummy, tasteless glue.
