Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

After alllllll this (and so helpful, thanks again), my dad’s admission to care was delayed, and mom can’t commit - so DH is coming with for the one night/after hours adventure. He vetoed CR! I tried hard to explain the allure of Tower Club, but no dice. So we’re at GF RPC. I was looking forward to CR:(. Maybe next trip!
Well both are awesome options I do NOT feel bad for you.

HAHA

Enjoy RPC!

I know your question wasn't directed at me, and I can understand/appreciate why the prior poster has their perspective, but I just wanted to say that I have a bit of a different view on the topic. I find the shared experiences of all of us in our CL travels particularly valuable and see minimal downside in public visibility into the CL experience or different room types - especially given the fact there is so little quality/current CL info out there in general. Add to that certain resort rooms/situations like Tower Club which is a bit more niche/mostly room types which up until 2020 weren't even bookable online, I've always appreciated that places like this can help unlock some of the mystery.

Anyway - best of luck planning your special trip, hope you enjoy CR CL! Happy to answer any questions.
Hi!! I agree with you as well. I see both sides.

In all transparency, I was asking what he thinks is the best room there as this will be a definite one time thing for my family. I could see how putting one specific room number as their favorite would probably be a somewhat private or special thing, and when Tower level doesn't seem to be talked about as much, it's possible that would become a really popular room request just because it was the only one named and so on. I'm sure you get what I mean!

I appreciate everyone sharing their knowledge and love to learn about unique experiences found all over the resorts and parks and beyond. But I also feel like there's some things it's ok to keep special to yourself, like you're favorite table at a certain restaurant! Definitely tell everyone how fabulous the restaurant is, but it's ok if you want to keep your table :)

I am loving reading what everyone knows about club level and I will definitely be here with lots of pictures and info once we get to stay! Thank you for your kind and thoughtful response.

haven't posted for a while because of acute illnesses; in fact, we had to cancel this last trip again from nov 29 - dec 8; couldn't chance being away from doctors while they were trying something new; anyway, since we had a 2BR suite, because we were taking DD and DSIL, they went and asked if a friend could stay with them in the 2nd BR; of course, i agreed;

just now she was meeting mickey up by the short film festival in epcot and she facetimes me and its mickey himself!!!! he saw my mickey pajamas and we had a wonderful talk, one-sided as it was of course; i told him we we are all set if i am well for jan 31 at the BWI deluxe CL and we will meet up then; he was gesturing so, as he always does, and i told him his magic is making me feel better already; but i told him i did not want to be a long-distance character hog so i thanked him and said my goodbyes; i told him that
just seeing and 'talking' to him, was already making me feel like a million dollars healthwise;

when you truly believe in the magic, and we do, all is possible; when my DD was 8 and there was going to be a meet of a certain website at the Poly Tangaroa Terrace, we weren't planning to attend; but at the last minute, believing in the magic, we made a 30 hour whirlwind visit, 'hired' Mickey for the meet/brunch so he could personally magicize my DD and visit all the other guests, and she got better once home; all the pieces of the shroud of Turin, water from lourdes, and bibles of all religions people at home gave us to place under her bed did little; but the pixie dust Mickey sprinkled on her definitely did the trick!

Glad you are feeling well again :wizard: We went with our son after a major surgery and it was one of our best trips ever, although we went at a much slower pace. So much pixiedust:

Looking to book a few nights at Boardwalk. They have club level available. Me I eat everything so for me it’s worth it. My wife has a salt intolerance do you know if they would accommodate? Like maybe scrambled egg whites with no salt in the morning or is it basically just eat what’s out? I know she will make the most of the liquor LOL. Do they have most everything like champagne and an old fashioned? Any guidance appreciated

I love the CMs at the Boardwalk and I enjoy the lounge, so I say this not to disparage their service or offerings, but more to adjust your expectations of what the club level is there.

The lounge foods/drinks are more similar to those of an extended stay hotel than a luxury property.

There is no liquor. They have pretty standard beers and wines and some liqueurs in the evening.

I spoke with the chef about my dietary needs, and the only meal that I had anything different was at the evening ‘dinner’. They had two pasta dishes out, and while I was able to eat one as is, they gave me a special bowl of the other dish modified to my request. I really appreciated it, but I had no input on the dish I would receive. It’s not like I could ‘order’ something, if that makes sense.

I’m not sure how much they would really do for breakfast as they have fruit and hard boiled eggs available.

I’m sure a lot of it is because they don’t have a kitchen at the lounge and are mostly just putting out things that have been delivered.

As I said, I enjoy their club level, and hope that you do as well, but I would personally rather be pleasantly surprised that it was better than expected than disappointed that it fell short of what I was hoping for.

I am at BWI club level now. They have a 3 day rotation. Breakfast is pastry, fruit, hard boiled eggs, either scrambled eggs or mini frittatas with plant based sausage, bacon or ham.

Lunch has been veggies, fruit and prepackaged chips.

Dinner they have beer and wine with 3 hot dishes (3 day rotation) things like Mac and cheese, meatball sliders, pasta Alfredo, cheese, veggies and bread and butter

Dessert are cookies, and small premade things like brownies or lemon bites. They also had maybe 3 types of liquors (things baileys)

We do not have a special diet but I have not seen them bring anything different out to anyone and we have been here since Saturday. If you have kids they do not offer kid foods like some of the other lounges.

Do you know if they still serve the Bao buns or small plates with a meat serving? Or did they do away with those options when they stopped the chef?
Thanks for any input. I booked BWI before I heard they stopped the chef options and now worried we will not like any of the evening selections

Just a reminder if you’re watching for discounts to keep checking!

Noticed club level discounts at CSR today for my spring trip. Alas, it’s not enough for me to make the jump up from tower non-CL but I always look just to see. First time since I started looking a month or so ago that I saw the FL & AP discounts being offered on those rooms.

I have not seen Bao buns. The food is different from when they had a chef. With the chef I felt the food was more upscale. They have not served scallops or pork belly, which they did in the past, it’s much more carb heavy. I preferred the chef and small plates but if your looking to make it a meal it would be easier now with a big bowl of Mac and cheese

Thank you. It’s definitely not a reason to change our reservation but just my expectations.

Thank you. Was considering it for a few nights but the extra cost is significantly higher that a non club level room. So for the 2 nights it might be worth not staying club level and using the difference for a couple of nice dinners. thats Assuming the rooms are the same at club level as standard rooms.

We were gifted two days of access to RPC during our GF/YC split stay two weeks ago. We also had reserved two nights at YC CL. While we really enjoyed our experience at RPC we much preferred YC CL. We always eat both breakfast and dinner in the club lounges whenever we have access to a club lounge. YC CL put out food that could make a good meal for dinner, like pulled pork sliders, chicken tacos and the most delicious beef and mashed potatoes, to name a few offerings, which we preferred to what RPC had for the evening.

We also preferred the YC CL dining area to the layout of tables at RPC.

We found wonderful CM's at both lounges, including one who showed up at both of them. But all, in all, unless we get another pixie dust free access to RPC, we won't be staying there again.
