I picked no because there wasn't a no but I never say a definitive no. For right now, it's a no. I live in Georgia where you can get great BBQ all over the place, including my house when hubby fires up the smoker. I've watched a few videos of the inside and it just looks too busy/kid's room for me. Not saying that is bad, just not for me. I rarely eat at family style restaurants, I eat like a bird so it's not the worth the money for me.

Questions ~

1) Not sure if it has been clear ... is it all you can eat?

2) Desserts are confusing. Disney Parks Blog says "Choose from a selection for the table" and Menu says "Chuckwagon Desserts (Select One Each Per Guest)". Hoping it is the second but what does choosing for table mean??

3) Are Desserts really as tiny as they look in photos?

Not that the food was ever spectacular but now the price goes up while the quality goes down. Most places I walk out feeling quite ripped off, even places I used to feel good about. We used to slide over to Epcot for dinner every night and now I can't think of one place I care about returning to. While it's hard not to grab those ones we always wanted, especially hard ones that pop up ... but then I think about value to price, and let them go.

I've given 'Ohana way too many chances and I'll give them this, they are consistent at disappointment. NEVER had a good server and the food, ya no. Hoop Dee Doo was fun and we enjoyed the food but know you are paying for the show ... and that is where I'm at ... if there is no high theme or atmosphere, I'm not wasting my money. And even something cool like Space 220, twice and done unless I get Lounge.

I'd rather save all that food money and use it towards Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining or Artist Point Storybook Dining. Something that gives us a memory. This might be a once and done, it might just look like Toy Story Mania queue but willing to give it a try. I would really love if they added a breakfast.

Yes - definitely paying for the show here. I haven’t been since I was a kid and my DD19 has never been - she’s excited about going.

The all you can eat question is a good question - I was thinking it’ll be like Garden Grill, but maybe I’m wrong. I’d like to know this too.

I just looked at this earlier today….

I’m reading it as each person chooses one. I watched the media day for this restaurant and the pies are in a jar. They didn’t seem huge, but enough for me. I probably would get the cupcake, just because it’s fun - LOL! I’m not gonna lie - I’m like a big kid - LOL!
Yeah you WOULD THINK like Garden Grill "FEAST" but who knows anymore. Disney has great difficulty with implementing dining terminology appropriately.

Those look like the tiny jam/honey/ dressing jars. We'd rather eat more biscuits than sweets but I think for some it might be good to know.

We live in the land of Hoop Dee Doo so I never had interest in the food or really the show as I was afraid it would be country music. But DD was on the DCP and one time visiting her she asked to go so we did. Had a great time.

Glad I popped on this thread. Had the same exact questions about the AYCE and desserts. Not going until November so I have some time to think about it. My 15 year old's FAVORITE thing of all time when he was little was Toy Story so it's going to be hard not to go.

I will give almost any restaurant a try once. I have eaten at some that get rave reviews and to me I didn’t like it and eaten at some that get horrible reviews and had good meals. I will probably wait until the hype dies down and it’s easier to get in but I will certainly give it a try

Was thinking of going. My picky DD would like several options. However, she still doesn’t eat a ton and is 12 so adult prices. Think we’ll just do Prime Time instead.

DD completely dislikes anything Toy Story so no. I thought the menu looked good, but not worth it since she isn't into the theme.

We have a reservation in May. Maybe I just want a Forky cupcake… (my daughter does, too). She loves Toy Story and that is our real reason for going. I’m curious to read reviews about the food. We will usually try something at least once.

I love the comment about the daycare atmosphere…now I cannot unsee it that way.

Please give us a review when you return - we‘ll enjoy seeing how you rate it. By that time I will hopefully have my ADR and will be stuck with it if you give it a 👎🏻 - LOL!

Please come back and give us a review - the more reviews the better 🙂

Wanting a Forky cupcake made me laugh - I want one too ::yes:: 👍🏻

Slightly off topic but my own personal unimportant rant - one of two things that bothered me with that movie .... he is a SPORK!!! He is not a fork. Why isn't he named SPORKY. It's like naming a dog .. CAT. I can't.

NOTE: He is very well liked by DS#2 so we have this discussion too often.

According to google, Bonnie is 5 years old in the movie. Do 5 year old know the difference? I genuinely don't know since I don't have kids.

I have an ADR for April 25th, and am hoping there are lots of reviews before I go. The whole dessert thing is strange. I do wish you had the option of getting the salad without the kale :)

I ate there yesterday. The theming is cool - daycares wish they looked like that!

It’s good to middling bbq fare, about standard for Orlando and probably what you’d expect for Disney BBQ.

Tomato salad - good as were the biscuits
The brisket is good, the ribs were decent.
The cowpoke corn on the cob was very good and was my favorite side
The apple tart pie desert was my favorite. Chocolate pie second. I thought both were better than the cheesecake.

I enjoyed the theming and the “show”. The cast members were in character and they were very amusing! No spoilers…ride the horse to your table!!!! And look for hidden mickeys!!

According to this youtube video, it looks like you can request additional food and they will bring it. (6:06)
