I thought it was weird too ... but looked at a few articles ... and they all seem to parrot themselves on that factoid!
See ... you remember that ... but you forgot where the cigarettes' store in Sofia was ... lol
Hey now, I don't have a photographic memory!! I only remember the important things such as where specific brands of beer are sold where.

For all you price is right fans, if you haven’t seen it I on Netflix it was a documentary called “The Perfect Bid”. So interesting about a guy who memorized all the prices of the items in the showcases and the ones you bid on to become a contestant.

Ooh, I’m always looking for a new documentary. I’ve been watching a lot of cult ones lately.

I saw it ... I saw it *jumping up and down like a Price is Right contestant* - it was very interesting!

Morning Julie! I keep getting cat and book shirts in my ads and FB feed 😃
You know last week or so when I commented on a funeral thread - I guess on CB, I don't know. I started getting all kinds of ads for wicker caskets. I had no idea those existed and I thought that was pretty cool to go out in, instead of cardboard for a cremation.

Anyway - per Guinness, been a favorite of DH for decades. One of his trips to Dublin he opted to visit the brewery before heading to airport. He said it tastes amazing in Ireland and you don't get the same elsewhere. He describes as the ease of drinking a milkshake. Of course when they go down that smooth .... more go down. Let's just say he barely made his flight. :drinking1:drinking1:drinking1:drinking1:drinking1

Haha fair enough ... I am only envious in all the places you have visited *sigh*
And I would love to go to more places outside the US but flights are super crazy right now. I remember looking up flights to Italy and it was $1700 for Dulles to Rome and that was JUST a basic seat. Premium economy was ludicrous.

Definitely agree that Guinness doesn't taste the same anywhere else. Last summer I visited the Guinness brewery in Maryland and it just didn't hit the same 😔

I think it is brewed under licence around the world, so it probably does have differing tastes, purely because of the water used.

Just walked up to the bus stop at boardwalk and the MK bus pulled up a moment later, that never usually happens for us. We usually just miss it and have to wait 20 minutes. Tron here we come! Scored a VQ this morning at the 7am drop

Let us know what you think. My DH rode during deluxe extra hours Wednesday night. He thought it was OK, he said the leaning on turns hurt his side quite a bit. We both got boarding passes, even tho I never do coasters. He’ll usually ride a second time with my MB. He said once was enough for Tron tho.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll have to check that one out.

What kind of hiking boots / shoes do you wear? Merrells? Salomons? Something else? Most trails will be moderate. I want some that are easy to pack.
Salomon. I have an older pair of speedcross shoes that have held up really well. The tread is plenty for moderate trails.

My hiking is pretty limited now, sadly. Have fun.

And Good Morning All.

We were able to ride it last month with the AP preview and enjoyed it. It’s not nearly as good as Guardians though in my opinion. I thought the ride vehicle would have been more uncomfortable than it actually was, it took the pressure off of my back and with a long day of being on your feet it felt good.

We just had an interesting run in with a fellow MK guest who got up in my husband’s face about getting too close to him while walking by. 🤷🏻‍♀️ he was cursing and calling him names and insulted his cargo shorts 🤣. The dude was clearly hangry and the lady with him was yelling at him too to cut it out. I said to him this is not how people act at a family theme park and we all walked away. He proceeded to still yell at us as we walked away. All I was thinking was I don’t want to be featured on the Disney blogs for fighting in the parks.

Hi all, I've been following along and have been amused by this thread from the beginning.
I remember "The Perfect Bid". It was a fascinating documentary. All this Price Is Right talk reminded me of a family I met when my son became friendly with their son in 5th grade. This family moved to NYC from out west after the mother won a large jackpot on Wheel Of Fortune.

Some people have zero shame in acting like that in public, especially in a theme park for families.

What the heck?? All because he thought your husband was walking too close? 😳 He would have a field day with my husband and his fanny pack.

ooh, Guinness, there's a topic I like! I'll drink it anywhere. The Foreign Extra Stout brewed in the Caribbean isn't bad. We didn't drink any in the UK last summer, mostly had the cask ales that were pulled by hand.

Full disclosure — I don’t like beer. 😬 🫣 But….. I do really like ciders. Probably because they remind me of wine coolers from my youth.
