DW refers to Lifetime as "Movies written by men that men think women want to watch."
Hallmark, on the other hand, is like a warm comforting embrace. You know where it's going, there are no surprises, and Good Things happen in the end. It is one of my not-even-guilty pleasures, though its another thing that DW does not understand about me.
And, to relate back to the scaremonger-gatekeeping-moralizing tone of this thread, the idea that
Hallmark was "too woke for some people" was enough to get a former Hallmark CEO to start a competing "family-friendly" channel. You can't make this stuff up. Some folks think
Hallmark is culturally cutting-edge! Seriously!
