I do get the Kingdom Pass every season. The additional happiness bonus is worth it to me and I have been able to complete every season with around a week to go.

I'm a pretty OCD kind of guy when it comes to things like this (you should have seen my physical DVD collection before we moved to Florida...).

I guess it's the 10% happiness that is killing me by not buying the Kingdom Pass. Thanks for the reminder. I am pretty OCD with this kind of stuff... I consider myself a "completionist". Thus the pissiness, lol.

What did you end up doing with your DVD collection? Is it still going strong, or are you transitioning to digital?

Between DVD, Blu-Ray and 4k, I had over 1,000 discs on the shelf. When we moved, I sold just about all of them. I did retain anything Star Trek related, a signed copy of Billy Elliott and Great Mouse Detective (Ron Clements autograph), a 3D Blu-Ray of Brave I got from the Disney Studio in California on a tour and all the Walt Disney Treasures tins.

Everything else got sold.

Since then, I've gone digital (started in 2021 right before the move) and my iTunes collection is at 923 titles. I typically add a couple titles a week, never paying over $9.99 for any single movie.

Wow!!!!! Have you checked out the Plex app? Would that be good for any digital titles you own? I downloaded Plex to share home movies with family and it's pretty need to have your own personal Netflix.

I’ve toyed with the idea of Plex from time to time…but I need someone to dumb it all down for me. Before we moved, I did think about it. If I hadn’t met my husband early in COVID, chances are that could have been my pandemic project.

For my digital movies, they’re either on iTunes, Vudu or Movies Anywhere and those services are available if there is an internet connection.

Here is something that always bugs my brain, though it is not something that is "wrong" with the game. I am glad to just have put Mulan back in storage (finished collecting for a random Khan win). Everytime I cycle through the characters to send them out on activities, my brain hiccups when I see "Mulan" and then I see "Fennec Shand". To me, they are one and the same since Ming-Na Wen voiced Mulan and plays this new(ish) SW character. OK. Random sharing over for now.

Gus Fring is an amazing character in the Breaking Bad franchise. Had to just now look up the Star Wars character name played by the same actor. Its Moff Gideon, and I’ll probably forget that again in about ten minutes

Now I get it! I still need to watch Breaking Bad. I never made it past the first few episodes because of a bathtub scene, but I hear it's worth watching.

Last few hours of the TC...get those final runs in, use your coins and all that jazz.

It looks like I'm going to end with my first goal (Gord) and just shy of a secondary goal (either Mickey's costume or the hat stand). I'm at 6700-ish coins and I don't think I'll be getting another 1300 in five hours...

We are definitely not the same person You are kicking it in this event. I ended up with Grumpy from my chest which was Okee fine with me. I just sent out some characters on another round of missions for reasons I can’t discern yet. No real goal in sight there. Will be just shy of 4000 coins. Guess I’ll figure it out when I get there.

Thanks for the reminder thought on the event end time. Now I just have to remind myself later of that reminder!

Officially done with this TC. Got Gord and managed enough extra coins to get the 50th hat stand. I know it doesn't mean a lot in the long run, but I wasn't going to get enough for the Mickey 50th Costume...

I didn't hit 90K coins, but was happy to get Maurice on my phone and Mr. Incredible in my casual game. Somehow I had Mickey's costume from something else. Trying to decide if I should spend the rest of my coins on the 50th anniversary hat stand (which I won't really do anything with) or just let it convert to gems. I was disappointed in my casual game that I did not get enough coins to get the 12K chest, but the characters in there only had a 1% chance of being a prize so I am trying not to stew over it. Looking forward to some regular game play for a while. I added Cruella & Marlin with a couple of lucky chest buys, and now I have Maurice to level up so I have some collecting to do besides the rest of the Captain, the last of the deer prince and the emotion characters.

ETA: I only got 3 gems for 9K of coins. Should have just bought the hat stand.

Yeah, I think I have three left (maybe two…). Really strange and weird. I’m used to worrying about these things all week long. But it is nice to hustle on Thursday and Friday and then not worry so much the other five days.

OK, I know I don't keep up my PC game as well as my phone if only because I step away from it so much (especially overnight). But the fact that I still need 2 more ear hats for Abby is pretty insane. I just looked up the event and it occurred at the end of last September! Wow, I will be so happy to not look at her again. She really feels like a new long record, though Owl is taking forever on the PC too. And Lock & Shock were late adds at some point that are sloooow. But Abby. Just 2.... more.... hats...

I am finally seriously considering stopping this game after Aristocats. The amount of tokens needed to level characters has been getting out of hand for a long time now. I have been playing since the first year but the need for 80-90 tokens to achieve the upper levels , I believe have finally finished me. I will finish thru Aristocats and call it quits once I level them. Better things to spend my time on!
