Question on Target Circle Rewards, since I know lots of us use them.

I know that, if I purchase something using my rewards and I subsequently return it, the rewards would go back to my account and any additional balance would get credited back to the original payment method.

What if a gift receipt is used for the return. Would my recipient get the full value as store credit? Or, even in the case of a gift receipt, would Target Circle rewards credit to my account and then just the balance would go as store credit for the recipient?

I have Target Circle rewards and a baby shower coming up. Would love to burn rewards instead of paying new money, but not if that limits the mom-to-be if she wants to return/exchange. I'm struggling with the Target website FAQs and google isn't my friend here. I have half a mind to go do this myself just to get a definite answer...

Can I vent about that stupidity for a minute? Every time gas comes up as a category I want to bang my head into a wall because I buy at Costco and they only take Visa 😢
Gas is tough for me too because I swear it always comes up as a category during the summer months and I'm on summer school vacation so I don't drive as much as I usually do! Grrr.

I still haven't received my cash app card in the mail and it has been 11 days. I know that it says to wait 14 days, but honestly has it taken anyone this long to get their card in the mail?

Today when making purchases at Amazon, I remembered seeing posts about a bonus with a gift card purchase. I googled "amazon gift card bonus" and the first link that appeared was directly to Amazon. At the top of the Amazon page, the banner read, "Exclusive offer: Get a $8 promotional credit with a $40 Gift Card purchase." I purchased a $40 gift card and did not receive the credit. I called Amazon. The clerk eventually found the order and applied a $8 credit to my account. She had no idea why I didn't receive the credit or if I'd receive it if I made an additional $40 gift card purchase. An entire hour on the phone with Amazon is not worth $8 to me.
I did post the following last Friday:

"Anyways, I have a feeling this deal won't work without having to contact customer support. Usually, these Amazon promos will also say the promo directly on the item page and this one doesn't. Also, on the main Amazon page where you see this promo, it says "1-12 of over 1,000 results for Exclusive offer: Get a $8 promotional credit with a $40 Gift Card purchase". But if you click see all results on the bottom of the page, the banner disappears so my feeling is this offer is some type of mistake."

That is why I didn't bother partaking of this deal - and that was assuming a 20 minute waste of time with customer service. For an hour on hold, I absolutely agree it is not worth the $8.

I use the $200 Prepaid Visa/Mastercard gift cards that I get at Staples with my ink card to buy Costco cash cards and use those at the Costco gas station. (I have to do that because I don't have membership so I have to buy the cash cards on my sisters account.)

The biggest pain is if you only have a few dollars on the cash card you have to split your fill up into 2 transactions if you want to use a second cash card. And to make it more annoying, they used to sell the cash cards in the $200 denomination but for some reason they got rid of that so now there is only $100 or $250 so now I have to buy 2 $100 cash cards.

I bought this directly from Bonne Maman when you posted it last time because they were offering the free "Nutella" with it. Man, that Nutella was gone in a matter of days. So good. I'm debating ordering another calendar for a gift, but I don't have the Chase offer either. I may order again direct from Bonne Maman, especially if they have something free with it.

That's the first time I've seen a freebie so I'm not sure if it will happen again. Having said that, if you're interested in purchasing the 2023 calendar as gifts, I would wait until Amazon has them on sale and get free shipping. Last year mine were shipped to Ohio and Connecticut.

I know the offers on the main page post #3 - that's where I originally saw it. However, today I was on the Amazon site and couldn't find the $8 promo so I simply googled it. Easier than coming here to find the same thing. I don't understand your point. Did I do something "wrong"?

No you didn't do anything wrong, if trying to save time - after logging into Amazon you could have used the link provided without logging on the DIS. Anyone can use them including lurkers.

FYI, The link is not affiliated. I make no money off anyone who uses them. The work I do here is strictly volunteer.
I do provide other links such as the OP like Danny Deal Guru or GC Galore but only for additional information and possible support. As @bbsearchlight pointed out, my original link wasn't working, though I did update and that link does work.

Due to Blackhawk confusion, the offer has been removed from the main page.

So wondering if anyone else is seeing this -
Tried to find DGC at two different Targets (to use the 5% Cash app deal) and they didn’t carry them. Is this normal?

Can you use Amazon gift cards to purchase Visa gift cards?

I have received free Amazon gift cards through various outlets (Medscape surveys, Amazon Shopper Rewards panel, Fetch rewards, etc) and I want to apply my "free" money towards my Disney vacations. In the past, I've used it for grocery delivery via AmazonFresh, but for our upcoming trip, it is only 3 of us and we are only eating 3 breakfasts in our room. My estimated grocery order is going to be about $75 and that's if we really splurge. Right now, I have about $225 in Amazon gift cards so my current plan is to use the funds to purchase Uber or Lyft e-cards and use those funds as needed. I already have $50 in Uber credits (from e-Rewards) and my friend has $50 in Uber credits too so I am not sure how much more we will need.

I already have plenty of Disney gift cards funds for this trip, but for future trips, I am looking for ways to convert my "free" Amazon funds into Disney-specific funds. If I can buy Visa gift cards with the Amazon gift cards, then that is something I would definitely consider as an option for accumulating more "free" Disney money because I would simply use them to purchase Disney gift cards.
