I loved the parade. I think it's my favorite parade at MK. This was our first time so everything was new to us. So much to see and do. We didn't get near as much done as you and Andi.

What did you do to the poor CMs to make them so angry with you?

Haha It became a running joke with Andi and I, why do they not like me, am I to old for candy, what did I do wrong etc…..

We did the fry flight and the pickle fries. They were all good but the pickle fries were my favorite.

We really wanted the fried pickles but never got back to try these

Where did you sit? Was it in the CS area?

In the pavilion where you sit to wait for the movie.

This sounds really good. I'm sorry I missed it.

The cheese was yummy

Someone in our party got this and it disappeared before I got a photo or a taste. It was hot when we were there and it was melting.

It was so good and went well with our sangria!

Love all the photos of you and Andy in the different countries. These will go great with the others you have from over the years.

This parade is hands down my all time favorite parade! I use to love the nightly electrical parade in MK but Boo to You is my The price to me is such a better deal than the Christmas party. The parade and all the candy is definitely worth the cost!

“I’m a heck of a paleontologist if I do say so myself” but not good at keeping track of my money, ugh tragedy strikes!

Today was Tuesday 9/6/23. It was a sleep in type of morning.

After our late night, we slept in until around 9am. I did buy Genie+ for HS. The plan was to go there later in the day. I got a SDD for around 4pm, perfect!

Our plan was DS this morning. We wanted to get to Gideon’s Bake House right when it opened.

We got ready and went to the bus stop and a bus pulled right up! Such service, yay

We arrived at DS and went right to Gideon’s. The line was not very long and I estimated a 15-20 minute wait. I visited with the lady in front of me, she was from New Jersey, she loves all things Disney and Gideon’s cookies. Andi had left me in line to go to the bathroom and look around.

It was just about my turn and Andi came back, perfect timing.

She told me, “mom don’t go crazy buying a ton of cookies”

I do get a little carried away in here and often get to much. The cookies do travel back home pretty well especially if you keep in the hotel refrigerator.

We decided on one of the coffee cake cookies, (yum), 2 chocolate chip, 1 pistachio toffee (for me to take home, Andi is allergic to all nuts) poor girl! I feel so bad about that but her peanut allergy is life threatening and the nut one is pretty severe as well. I keep my baby away from all things nuts! The staff at Gideon’s are awesome about wrapping the pistachio one separately and putting it in a separate bag.

We both also ordered a cold brew. I believe it was a banana bread one or cookies and cream, delicious whatever it was.

Gideon’s does not take a Disney gift card or magic band. I believe this is where I lost all my cash! I went into my little wallet to pay for the treats and I think my folded twenties fell out and I didn’t even notice! I lost around $140.00. It was my own fault for not taking better care of my cash! I didn’t realize I lost the money until the next day, so nothing I could do about it.

Andi felt so bad for me, she was really sweet about it but also couldn’t believe I had let that happen. Lesson Learned, Don’t fold up a bunch of twenties and put them in a little wallet with your credit cards! I sure hope someone less fortunate than myself found the money I am still so irritated with myself for letting this happen.

Oblivious to the money being lost, we headed out of Gideon’s and drank our cold brew. it was delicious

We went to World of Disney and the other stores in that area. I didn’t see anything I had to have.

We also checked out the Christmas store and Basin. I did buy some body lotion and soap at Basin. We washed our hand with the delicious smelling soap I love that store.

Our plan was to go to Jock Lindsey’s hanger bar for a drink and lunch. It opened at 12:00pm and we were second in line to enter.

It was gorgeous outside and we went out on the deck to sit.

They do have happy hour drinks and appetizers at this hour.

I got the Reggie's Revenge, it was the happy hour drink $13.00

Florida Cane 'Orlando Orange' Vodka, Midori Melon Liqueur, White Cranberry Juice, and fresh Lime Juice

Andi had Magners Pear Hard Cider - Ireland $10.50

We decided on the two happy hour specials for appetizers

Air Pirate's Pretzel

A Giant Pretzel with Spicy German Mustard and Beer-Cheese Fondue $8.25

Doctor Astorga's Queso Dip

A Skillet of Melted Soft Cheeses topped with fresh Pico de Gallo and Cilantro served with Corn Tortilla Chips $8.00

I really liked my drink and the appetizers were very good and happy hour prices, not bad!

We enjoyed our visit at the hanger bar.

The placed filled up fast out on the patio.

Andi had her Homecomin mug and wanted to get a moonshine at Homecomin. We sat at the bar there and I had the Strawberry Moonshine and Andi had the Shine Tea one.

We enjoyed our drinks and once done decided to head back to the Riviera. We wanted to put our feet up and relax some before heading out to DHS.

I did stack a MMRR and TSMM.

Back at the Riviera, we had some of our cookies and candy for our dessert.

We grabbed a cold brew and headed to the Skyliner. It was a quick ride to DHS.

Here are a few pictures of Andi at DHS in years past, look at all her pins! RIP GMR!


Our first ride was TSMM and I did not do as well today, I must have been tired out. I think I had around 120,000 and Andi also didn’t do as good but was still best in vehicle with 185,000. I think our late night was catching up to us.

We rode SDD next and had a fun ride! The picture is a little better this time!

I love Wheezy.

Both my kids were very premature,
Andi was 8 weeks early and Jack was 12 weeks early! It was such a scary experience for Joe and I. We are very grateful both kids did well and didn’t have any permanent problems related to the prematurity! Jack was only 2#14oz at birth and Andi was 4#4oz. So tiny! Jack and Andi are both miracles! Both kids did have asthma and were sick a lot when they were small. They used to wheeze with the asthma and Wheezy from Toy Story reminded me of them. Joe, bless his heart was very good with the kids when they were sick. I was an ICU nurse back then and let me tell you, my anxiety was through the roof, because I always feared the worst. Thank goodness for Joe! He kept me and the kids calm when they were sick and wheezing!

Jack and Andi both loved Toy Story when they were little and would always have a special bond with Wheezy! Anyways long story to tell you about our connection with Wheezy!

Jack has totally outgrown his asthma, he does have seasonal allergies but no more wheezing! Andi still has a little asthma at times but really never wheezes anymore either. My Miracles!

Andi and I decided to ride Aliens. We love this little ride. We did get a lightning lane for it so it was a short wait.

I love the music and the Aliens.
I did lose my phone on the ride. Thank goodness it didn’t leave the ride vehicle and it was fine.
It flew out of my pocket on my skirt.

We walked through One Man’s Dream to cool off before our MMRR. I love this spot. We didn’t watch the film this time and Live action Ariel was done meeting for the day.

We got to ride MMRR without a breakdown today, yay!

I was able to get us LL for Smuggler’s Run. We went to see the Muppets first. We both love this movie.


Next up was Smuggler’s Run. We got to be pilots, score! I have to say I am getting better at this ride. It is really fun being a pilot.

Andi directed me, lol she tries her hardest to make sure I don’t crash the Falcon!

After the ride, we sat down for a few minutes to discuss dinner. We didn’t know what we were going to do. I threw out some suggestions and Andi wasn’t feeling most of it. There was a fair amount of table service restaurants with availability but neither of us were feeling any of them.

We decided to ride Star Tours because we got a LL for right away and then head back to our resort.

I hadn’t been on Star Tours my last couple trips so it was fun to ride except we didn’t get any of the new scenarios, bummer!

We looked in a few stores on our way out but didn’t buy anything.

Our Skyliner ride back was with another couple. The lady proceeded to take her shoes and socks off and rub her feet. I thought Andi was going to die! She was freaked out by it. I just thought it was gross and was thankful her feet didn’t stink!

Once back at The Riviera we decided on Primo Piatto again.

I ordered the Croque Monsieur

Classic French Ham and Swiss served with choice of Side. I had the tomato basil soup with it. This was absolutely delicious and I am so glad we came back to the resort. This was only $12.99

Andi had the kids chicken strip meal with French fries, she liked her choice as well.

This QS is a real winner with many delicious entrees!

It was also nice to relax and be back to the room a little earlier this evening.

I went into my little wallet to pay for the treats and I think my folded twenties fell out and I didn’t even notice! I lost around $140.00. It was my own fault for not taking better care of my cash! I didn’t realize I lost the money until the next day, so nothing I could do about it.

That was very unfortunate. I have lost hotel rooms keys and almost lost credit cards when pulling my phone out of my pocket.

Our plan was to go to Jock Lindsey’s hanger bar for a drink and lunch.

I love sitting at an outside table, watching the boats on the lake.

I was an ICU nurse back then and let me tell you, my anxiety was through the roof, because I always feared the worst.

I'm glad that both of your children grew to healthy adults. That must have been a really difficult period of time, especially when you knew what some of the complications were.

I did lose my phone on the ride. Thank goodness it didn’t leave the ride vehicle and it was fine.
It flew out of my pocket on my skirt.

I think that losing the phone would be the worst thing to happen. I have a habit of leaving my string bag or hat behind. They usually keep it at the ride if I realize it soon enough to retrieve it before it goes to the central lost item location

I still haven't tried a Gideons cookie but maybe this trip! I have nut allergies as well but not peanut. I can't eat any nuts except for almonds. Don't worry, I always have my Epi pen with me.

Oh my gosh, they were so little! I knew they were both preeemies but I think I forgot just how early they were. Did they have any lung issues at birth? My Jack was a preemie as well but only 5 weeks early and weighed 6#12oz. He had pneumothorax which was very scary and spent about 8 days in NICU.

I have this “vintage” Disney backpack and I put my little wallet in there. My mistake is not putting my cash in the safe in the room. I never use my cash really other than for tips! It was a dumb mistake!
I would definitely take advantage of the Skyliner when staying at the Pop. I would do that as well. Love the QS and cold brew at Riviera!

We were really happy with our drinks and appetizers during happy hour. Dennis want to go back in December but we'll have JP so I don't know.

I do! Before Jack was born, all we heard from the doctor was he will probably have this and this wrong! It was very traumatic! Thank goodness they were perfect in every way!
