It feels like over the fall we were getting flash offers like crazy and lots of chances for bonus miles. Suddenly nothing for the last two weeks. I am really hoping this means we will see some great promotions next week for Black Friday.

I went to Global and bought some cat food and dog bones. Then stopped at Metro for a couple things, including Astro yogurt and some tortiallas. Scanned the receipt when I got home and nothing. Says I didn't buy anything that qualifies and now I'm unhappy. I submitted a "you missed it" thing for the receipt so now I guess I have to wait for that. I'm really annoyed though, why bother going into the store if it's not going to work any way?

Anyone have to submit a query on their receipt know how long it takes to post? if at all.

The whole thing sounds like more trouble than it is worth.

Mine says that they need a little more time for my avocado purchase at Farm Boy.

That's my thought lol. I could have just gotten everything delivered but not been able to scan the receipt. I thought it might be worth the 100 AM? So far, not so much lol. Won't do that again!

Just received an email for Max pass. It’s on offer now. Not something I’m interested in because mostly it’s a AIR MILES shops, I have nothing to get there, and global pet foods. I think there was a timber mart as well.

Check your emails if you’re at all interested. If you’re gonna buy something anyways, it might not be a bad deal. I will add there’s not a lot of them available, so if you’re interested, get over there and look now.

Quite the day for me so far and it's not done yet! Did all of my errands and then some, I'm exhausted. I left the house at 11 and got home at 3:30. I FINALLY found the Tic-tacs at Zehrs, bought JUST THOSE in a separate transaction, scanned the receipt and they are already in my account -- seriously fast! If you are able to find the product that looks EXACTLY like the picture, it's a very smooth process. I also bought some tortilla chips and the system got confused and I've submitted a claim but that's only 3 miles. Who cares

Went to Dollarama and got a pair of light mittens to tuck into my pockets, I have Reynard's and my hands just can't survive temps below 10. They will help on the way to Pearson and on any nights that the temp dips. A box of tissues for the car and a $25 gift card for Amazon, total was $30.65, poof another card-link offer done - should net me 110 miles

Rexall for all the things on my list and earned more points than I redeemed, made money for spending points, SWEET deal.

Found out about the great online shopping Max Pass and have started my Amazon list - that's going to be my partner. Luggage if nothing else!

AND FINALLY?! OMG - if you're playing chicken with WestJet fares you might want to take a peek at the sale they just dropped. If you're flexible there are days starting as early as next week that can get you flights that are under $100 for the way home?!

Next weekend for a week, return, all in at the mid-economy level (so not the very basic one) $352.93 pp
Dec 16 - 24 is $316.17 pp
Feb 24 - March 1 is $326.68 pp

I don't do a lot of online shopping so I am going to pass on the max pass this time.
For the receipt offer I bought tortillas on 3 separate receipts and all say pending. What because they don't say tortilla wraps like the offer? I had that happen with my cucumber and it did show up in my account after 2 days so I am not going to chase it down just yet.

Just wondering about Staples shopping....
If I Heart a product but don't put it into my cart will it effect a purchase I do in the future,,, I know on Amazon you can't put anything in your cart.

Thinking of doing Staples as my 40x Max Pass Partner (yep I grabbed one).
My printer is making a slow demise right now and have been looking for a few month.

So it's been a week and a half for me. I basically worked late every day in order to clear some time from my schedule to go to a funeral today. Why do those things always end up being smack in the middle of the day? Someone please plan mine for either 9am so that everyone can go about their day after or make it 4pm like happy hour. Anyway said goodbye to a friend and actually learned something in church. LOL... DH said he was proud of me for listening and not zoning out. I swear that I was being forced to pay attention by my friend in the casket. Not joking....I actually felt some force in there today. That is so not a me thing.


Back to AM business....

The max pass will work for the entire time BUT only at the very first store you shop thru.

so you buy one thing from staples on Friday and then buy paper from staples on Sunday both transactions count. If buy something from Amazon it will give you what's from that store but NOT the max pass miles, so decide wisely about which store you shop at first!!!
