Funny Memes

Oh my goodness, and Santa took you a minute to get?

If you are from the United States, Gen X grew up watching that same claymation Santa in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, and The Year Without Santa Claus.

And I will proudly exclaim Burl Ives Sam the Snowman beats Frosty, hands down! @tx911 if you are from the states and don't recognize this snowman, I am revoking your Gen X card, which you didn't even know you had so it will mean nothing. :rotfl:(just kidding)

I sat through all those with my kids watching them and I was born in 1948. I think it only fair that boomers should start posting some stuff from our era to see how clever the Gen X's really are. I'll have to start looking at some old photo to see if any of it might be a bit difficult, I mean easy to figure out.

Oh you are close, late boomer. ;) Gen X, 1965-1980.

Rudolph came out in 1964. Santa Claus is Comin' to Town was 1970. A Year Without Santa Claus was 1974.

I am here for all to enjoy! I am just sad you can't easily find them on TV anymore, except Rudolph. Streaming isn't my favorite when it comes to holiday traditions. (including Charlie Brown specials)

Ok, you are the same age as my mom, born in '48. Boomer, don't get me wrong, I love you as you represent those who raised me. But you should know by now Gen X is the forgotten generation - its always Boomers and Millennials. And as it appears we can't even get this little nugget without a fight. :rotfl: j/k

My hubby is a Gen X. I’m nearly one. Missed by a week!

Was Year Without a Santa Claus the one with Heat Miser and Snow Miser? I loved that one.
