Well, someone posted elsewhere on DISboards in the last few days that they checked in for a P/G view and found themselves in a BW view, so hopefully whatever was causing issues has been resolved.Aww man. I hope this gets fixed by mid June. I’ll keep watching.
If I may ask, did you get moved at check-in or were you notified ahead of time?
The exterior scaffolding was on the Boardwalk side of the exterior when I was there last December. Seems weird that it's still there, or have they come back? I'm guessing no one really knows, but I'm certainly curious. We have a standard studio booked beginning May 5th. We haven't been notified of a move.
When we got here last Sat there was no exterior scaffolding. By Tuesday they had put it all up.
Wonder what's going on with the Boardwalk view units that people were moved, and now the exterior?
Is the work confined to that one section of Boardwalk rooms right now?
That section was stucco rather than siding. Looks like they’re replacing the old stucco, I can’t tell from photos I’ve seen whether new stucco or siding or what. I hope it will still have the different character from the rest of that side!
I got moved from my Boardwalk view room booked 11 months out to a regular room on the Inn side with a water view.
When was this? Did you know ahead of time, or did you find out when you checked in?
I got a call a week or so ago. My reservation is in a few weeks.

I’m here now. Staying standard. Yes the hall is still blocked starting around room 1123, 2123, 3123, etc. there is very little to no work being done on that last wing section. It’s the section that is closest to the hot tub area and that end hall door is blocked too. You can go in the corner door. I counted and it appears around 50+ rooms are out of inventory. (1 bedrooms and studios, both standard and P&G view). Top court the entire section of BW view is still scaffolded and being worked on too.
I left yesterday and the area surrounding that last wing by the quiet pool had the barricade come down (outside on the lawn). I actually saw someone sitting on one of the 2nd floor balconies in that wing facing the quiet pool. 4th floor still had that hallways blocked off, but didn't check the other floors.
