I know your trip has passed, but we were able to do walk-up at Magellans and I was very impressed. Everything was delicious and service was wonderful.
What did you eat?We went for lunch a little before noon and it was basically a walk-in. They just needed a few minutes and then took us to our table. It was kind of nice NOT to have a reservation to allow for flexibility with premier access/shows. That said, if you have your heart set on it you may want to keep the reservation
Would 2 - 2.25 hours be enough time for dinner? We have "linner" reservations at Blue Bayou (4:30pm) and Magellan's (4:10pm) in early June. I believe the parade will be at 7:30, and we plan on purchasing premier access, if available. Not sure what our dinner plans would be, especially at Disneyland, if we don't go for a sit-down restaurant. It's hard to find recent information about menus, etc.

Fortunately Google Translate automatically translates websites, and the translations are funny indeed. I think I've managed to figure out if this is a fish, or beef, or eel or something wrapped in phyllo. LOL.The TDR website seems to be very up-to-date. You will need to translate the menus though. That's why I use the website. Generally, you can figure out what it is, but some of the translations are really funny. I have been going through them again for our June trip, since a bunch were update for April.
Between my mom and I we got one Pacific and one Magellan set. We traded a little so we could both try more things. My main was the beef, which was delicious, but I honestly liked it all. Sadly I only took two photos of the food. They did have English menus once you got there (I think…unless I was translating with the lens…)What did you eat?

The dessert was chocolate with a lemon sorbet…I wasn’t sure about the flavor combination, but it totally worked. You also got coffee or tea with dessert, which is always a lovely way to end a meal.
Google translateYummmm!!! Thanks
Also, what’s the lens?
Yes! Google translate - it lets you take a photo and translates the text for you…I am not sure how perfectly accurate it is, but it was certainly helpful (and fun to translate random signs throughout our trip)Google translate
