After proof of time date passes they remove anything that you could edit before, so she wouldn't be able to see it anymore.
I thought they changed it so men could start in any corral now.
Is C still the highest corral that men can start in ?
Wow, what was your moving pace for that?
Oh okay, they must have changed that then for Princess after people couldn't for marathon weekend. Good to know.I can see what I entered. It's just greyed out and locked from editing.
The Princess Half Marathon will be my very first RunDisney event! I read that if you don't arrive to your corral early enough, they won't let you in, and you'll be bumped to a later corral. With the race starting at 5:30, what time do they close the first corral? I'd like to give myself enough time to use the bathrooms without getting locked out of my corral!
For Princess, there is not quite the same type of issue with the corrals closing since they are on Epcot Center Drive and you can walk up the median to access them all the way up to A corral. The races that start in MK parking are different as they "load" the corrals into the starting shute about 5:00, and then you would have to drop back into another one. It is recommended that you try to get to the corral by 5:00 anyhow for Princess, but know that there is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the start (about 10 minutes or so). There are port-a-poties at the corrals, but not nearly as many as in the parking lot, so budget your time accordingly. The Princess Half Marathon will be my very first RunDisney event! Thank you so much for the explanation! I am looking for some advice from some of you experienced Run Disney runners. Last fall I signed up for this half marathon and less than two weeks later, suffered a pretty serious injury that required surgery and a cervical spinal fusion. I have not been able to run at all but have been able to walk just fine, including long distances. After X-rays tomorrow I'll find out if I can start adding some running into the mix, but even if I can, I won't be able to run much at all by the time this race takes place. I CAN walk 13+ miles without difficulty, but with a maximum of 2.5 weeks of adding jogging into the routine, I know I'll be walking almost this entire race if I go through with it. I have run numerous half marathons before but no Run Disney events. I know the FAQ page says walkers are welcome but do people actually walk the whole thing? Will I be all by myself in the back of the pack? The 3.5 hour time limit to finish might be close if I have to walk the whole thing, would I still get a medal if I'm a few minutes over that mark?
Under most circumstances I would just throw in the towel but this is my 40th birthday and I really, REALLY want that medal! I dropped my 7 night cruise down to a 4 night, took extra time off of work and changed all our plans including our flight just so I could make this happen. If I'm being unrealistic, I just want to know now so I can get my crying over with and still enjoy this trip.
Thanks for any advice you can give.
Plenty of people walk the whole thing! I'm not sure if links are allowed here but a blogger that I love was injured a few years ago and walked the entire race in a boot. I can try to find her post about that race and PM it to you if you want.

I just googled and found her blog post about it. Thank you so much! It is so encouraging to not only read her experience but to know that she wasn't alone the whole time! I'm getting excited again. Thank you!
Can anyone tell me where the timing mats will be? I don't see them marked on the map at all but I could be missing something. I have a friend coming to spectate and she's signed up for runner tracking. I'd like to devise a game plan for her that says "When I cross timing mat A, I'll be approx X minutes from Y (TTC, Main Street, Poly, Finish, etc.)"
I know it'd be difficult to get to TTC and Main Street but this way she could make the best decision based on how the morning is shaking out.
Thanks!Timing mats should be at the 5K, 10K & 15K points of the course.
