After seeing our favorite YouTube Disney vloggers Traveling around Disney
eat here we wanted to check it out,

We love following them as well! We looked for Todd at the Contemporary when we went in April and May. Hoping to maybe run into them in December.

this item told us what they are willing to cook & sell us. Fancy and informative,
two-fer right there.

Ha-ha! Loving your report so far!

I thought the decor was nice and service was good, but we were not
blown away by the food.

Interested in your breakfast review at Trattoria Al Forno. My ADR day is coming up soon for December and am torn between there and Ale & Compass breakfast. Sounds like Ale & Compass for the win.

BOARDWALK DELI

Since reopening as a deli we heard about the cinnamon yummy.
We took it back to Riviera for later heating & butter slathering.
Not bad, but not amazing. The Doodle muffin was light years above this.
Crumb cake is to crumby. Who would have thunk. Not bad, but not special. Shame

Believe it or not, we never ate here before. I guess it would be odd if you didn't
believe that. We always seen such wonderful rave reviews about breakfast so
we figured lets give it a go.
I thought the decor was nice and service was good, but we were not
blown away by the food. I like the bread served with the eggs and it was a decent dish
just not very hearty or our type of breakfast ( See Topolino's).
Sauce was flavored well. Needs more eggs.

French toast was also just okay, not a fan of the textures of the fingers in the
french toast, to much like meringue. At least we finally tried it and got it off our
dwindling completer list of places to try. One and done for us, unless they change out
the breakfast.

Happy to see the Al Forno eggs survived the chef change!

SEBASTIAN'S BISTRO

We came back after trying it out in January and loving the bread pudding.
Some things were not as great as last some better and some the same.
Lets investigate......


Spreads are just as good, the rolls were slightly better last time, not huge difference.


Still good, but the dressing seemed better last time.


Just as good as last, love the coconut laden roaches of the sea......Mmmmmmm


rice was much better last, broccolini same.


Pork, just as good as last
Chicken much better, more flavor and juicier
Steak WAY better, seasoned well, tender and only protein we got seconds off.

Still mind-bending miraculously marvelous. One of the best bread puddings around
so much so we got another serving.

Just as amazing as the first plate, would be odd if it differed.
I want this in and around my face holes all the time.
Might be odd if I was at a funeral though..........

TOPOLINO'S
We came back after trying it out in January and loving the food.
Staying at one of our home resorts how can we not jaunty up 2 floors
for some breathtaking breakfast.
The sever this time was leaps better than last. Even got seated in a
primo spot by the window.
Our server automatically brought us out POG juice which was WAY better then last time.
Also told us to order as much as we want, just all at once. I ordered almost it all.
Wife got 3 dishes. Here we go.............

very juicy consistency. I guess juice is like that nowadays.....




still good, we only ate the one there and took the rest to our room for
later consumption. Leaves more room for the good stuff.
Plus we heated it up and added butter. Butter always makes stuff better.
Better believe butter is best, baby.....

never had it last time, and was not expecting much, but very
surprised how delectable it was. will get it again.

still as amazing as we remembered in January. Not sure what
wizardry is going on in the kitchen but WOW, its magic.
We did make it all disappear. I am MAGIC ta-da! My stage name is
the GREAT FOODINI.

My Plate:
Steak was even better this time. Not sure how but trust me it was.
Bacon and potatoes just as fantastic. Same goes for the polenta.
Eggs were creamier last time, not a biggie. Chef might have clucked up on them.

Wife's Plate:
She adored it all, she does like her chicken spew a bit dry.

I ate this, wife does not like lox.
It was good, but I prefer a salty lox and this was not.

Very new menu addition and it was exemplary.
Amazing everything about it. Hope it stays, we liked it more than the
waffle. Shocked how good it was. Now that's a bread pudding for the
history books. Not sure what books of history would cover such a thing
but if they did include this.

If you want to eat all of this glory, got to pay up.

the cash, on the hook to the mob for some major moolah.
That's why they all parade around showboating, hoping you feel bad for them.
This is always a must do for us.

PRIMO PIATTO & LE PETIT CAFE


pretty looking, but needs more chocolate.
Fresh and we did warm it in our room with a bit-o-butter.

Always good and great chocolate chunks.
Fresh and laden with banana goodness.

Added it one night to our mobile order cause why not
and surprised how tasty it was.

warmed it up and it was better. Buttered it up as well.
Who doesn't like to be buttered up. Right?

very creamy and balanced well. Overall perfect flavors.
A bit on the pricier side compared to the rest of the treats.


Better than expected, great amount of toasted almonds.

Excellent. Wish we got it more. But with so many treats hard to do at times.
Plus they rotate thru the week certain ones and this was one of them.

RIVIERA PRIMO PIATTO
THE SIGNATURE COOKIES

Just found out they added these very recently to Primo and have singles & boxes
available in the warming case. The new signature cookies really stole the show.
We took several boxes home to freeze.
Served warm, they are fantastic. Even added vanilla ice cream, more magic in the
mouth. New favorite cookie on property.

RIVIERA BAR RIVA

We always loved the wings in the past, but this time it just didn't
taste the same, plus they decided no more pickled veggies on the side.
Cheap bastards. They were a good addition.


Last Time May.

MUCH better color and the wonderful veggies.


Burger & soup still awesome but same as in Primo Piatto.
Need a hot bowl of soup on a chilly 96°, Brrrrrrr.

RIVIERA PRIMO PIATTO

We ate at Primo many times during our 8 nights.
we always enjoyed it, the food is always very good.
The tomato soup at Primo Piatto is always perfect, but another surprise that we
never tried before was the grilled chicken on focaccia bread. It was silly good although a bit overpriced.
We got it twice, it was that good.
The burgers at Primo are still excellent as always and it's one of my top 5 on property.
Kid shrimp was a huge hit, got it 4-5 times. So awesome
Pretty much you can't go wrong with anything from Primo Piatto, it's always our go-to when staying there.

Great little start for the morning without feeling gross.


It was our check out day, so get all the goodies.

Came with drink and another side.
Such an incredible bargain but the shrimp itself was perfect every single time I got it
We had it 4 times and each time spot on. Hope this sticks around for a long time.

Yup more shrimps & chicken sandwich. We love them oh so much. Not like a grandson but close.
Gotta a problem with it.......if you do just talk with the manager, he's right behind you.


More sublime soup, every time just as good as the other.


2 burgers & kids shrimp for our last night at Riviera.
Sad indeed. So long lovers until next rendezvous.
I will mourn you in my own way until May.
