Are tickets available at resorts?

Can you buy tickets for USF/IA at the resorts? We always buy our disney passes when we get to our resort, and would like to be able to do that at Universal as well.

Also, are the passes for park admission on your resort room key as they are at Disney?

Yes, you can buy tickets at the resort. We've always done it this way. Just go over to the concierge desk in the lobby. The tickets are separate however from your room key. You will need your room key for FOTL access though. Just show your room key at each ride and go directly into the express pass lane.

So, there's no reason not to buy the passes before hand then? I like the convenience at Disney of just having one card to keep up with. Sounds like I'll need two things at Universal, a room key and a park admission pass.

You will need both but once your in the park you can put your park admission pass away.
