How full on is the backstage magic tour? A singer I like is playing in LA on the evening of night 2 when we have a free evening in the itinerary but wondering if attending a concert is good idea on the trip when it’s a full on trip / early starts? I’m coming from England so want to have a trip to remember and do everything want to do.

You'll have to pack up the same night and be awake by 7 the next morning to catch the bus. Day 3 is also a very full day, but you do get a chance to nap when you're riding from Burbank to Disneyland.

Thanks for info, I’ve decided to get a ticket to the concert and just power through everything want to do on holiday. Life’s too short and can rest when get home. I will just have to try and rest when I get the chance. I live out my suitcase anyway so packing shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Seems when get to Disneyland may get a chance to go back to hotel for an hour or so on free days in the park.

My next question is is is easy to get a taxi to and from the Staples Centre on night of concert? I see the metro has a lot of homeless and could be scary and dangerous later on at night after the concert so taxi might be easier even if longer journey?

Taxi, Uber, or Lyft all work and will be easy to get. I avoid the metro in LA as much as possible, and this is from someone who takes the NYC subway after midnight.

Do you know if taxis are waiting outside the arena after a concert to get into like taxi ranks?

I don't know if they have a stand, but you'll find them on the street right outside. Even so, I really recommend Uber and Lyft in the city. You get your price before and don't have to worry about cash or tips. And Los Angeles is filled with them.

Oh ok thanks this is good

Just wondering if you were able to book the Backstage Magic tour? (and which number you called) I can't find any info if it is available during this summer. Thanks!

Do you mean the regular Disneyland & Southern California trip? If so, there are several departures available for after July 31st. I'm not sure what happened to all the trips before 7/31, because several departures of this trip have gone this spring. Perhaps they are full, and just have too many people on their waiting lists? Who knows!

If you are talking about the Disneyland and Southern Californian Short Escape, then no, there's been no indication of it being available this year at all. The first one on the schedule is March of 2023. There's no indication that they intend to add any departures for 2022, either. But, again, who knows?

I've been calling 1-800-543-0865. I find the wait times are much less if I call in the evenings, around 9pm ET.

Thank you so much for your time and info! I didn't realize this thread was about the Disneyland Backstage Magic tour. My question was about the Disneyworld one. My bad. I think I'll just give the number on the website a call. I was just hoping somebody would have some info so I wouldn't have to pay the ridiculous prices to make the international call to the USA.

But again: Thank you so much for your time!

If you mean the WDW Adventures by Disney trip, it actually never ran. They cancelled it the first year they offered it. I believe it was due to lack of interest. That was years ago.

If you mean WDW's Keys to the Kingdom tour, you're in the wrong place. :) This Forum is about Adventures by Disney escorted tours, not the Parks.
