Barbecue Grills

Can anyone use the barbecue grills at DVC resorts or are they for special events only.

Is charcoal provided, do they sell it on site, or do you have to bring your own?

What happens to the smoke? I wouldn't like to be sitting on a balcony overlooking the grill.

Grill use is first come/first served. Charcoal is sold at the stores at each DVC resort. Smoke doesnot meaningfully effect balconies.

Not sure about the other resorts, but at OKW, the grills are near the quiet pools, so no real problem with balconys.

There are many kinds of iris, so not sure what variety you are speaking of. 1 gal is the size container.
