Saw it tonight and I absolutely loved it! I was beginning to get a bit wary with the critic reviews coming out, even though I tend to disagree with them often on most films ;-) However, I'm so happy that I was NOT disappointed at all and it was overall a very very good remake of the beloved original.

Only a few minor things I would change, personally, the biggest one being Emma Watson's reaction during the "Be Our Guest" sequence. She's obviously no stranger to acting with things that aren't actually on the screen thanks to a decade of Harry Potter, so her courtesy half smile (like she was watching a co-worker's child's piano recital) during most of the number seemed out of place. I know there are a lot of critical opinions about her in the role out there, and I disagree with most but I did think she could've done better with that scene. Though it was hardly a bring down the film moment, just one I noticed enough to comment on ;-)
I've been listening to the soundtrack all week and have been curious to see how it would all come together in the movie, since the songs seemed to lack some of the punch from the versions in the original - but they work well in the movie and now listening to the soundtrack after I'm enjoying it much more having the visuals from the film in my head to go along with it.
Already trying to figure out if I can squeeze in a showing during the afternoons all of my kiddos are in school to see it again. I don't want to wait until it's out on video!
