We got the call yesterday to advise us that we are being moved to Copper Creek for our stay December 18-23. I think that they are starting the two-bedrooms on Monday. At least we can stay in the same resort.

I really don’t like the main living area at all, so sad they didn’t add the 5th sleeper. Bedroom and bathroom look great.
Yes. The love the space and amenities of a 1 bedroom, but that lack of a 5th sleeper is a serious bummer. We are a family of 4, but the kids just do not share a bed well. We stayed at a one bedroom at BWV last time and brought an air mattress - it worked ok, but I don’t think we would do it again.

Is it just some 2BRs that will lack the murphy bed in living room? (I mean the full/Queen, not the little twin under TV in studios).

Thanks for the photos everyone! We arrive in late April and can't wait. I just was in an old room last week and yikes it was rough.

Did they do the hall carpet? If not, how bad does that look? Because I was walking on each floor last week and there were so many dirt and bleach stains in the long hallways. TY

Someone checked into a 2 bedroom today and got a new room. They shared on the DVC Fan Facebook group, It’s one with slanted ceilings so the living room does not have a Murphy bed.

It seems like they could have rearranged that room so it could have the pull down somehow. Kind of stinks it doesn't have it. I wonder if that is all the rooms on the 5th floor don't have the living room pull down? Or just some of them on 5th floor?

They are replacing the carpet only after they have a complete block of rooms finished (no additional construction traffic). There is one photo on one of the Facebook pages of the first area replaced.

I believe this is actually a 4th floor room on the wing closest to the main lodge. 5th floor is only on the other side. Other rooms without angled ceilings do have the queen Murphy beds. I think the cost to reconfigure the floor plan to allow the twin Murphy bed probably far exceeded the budget and scope but I do agree that would have been nice. Maybe that’s a change they make for 2042….

I forgot about there only being 4 floors on that wing by the lodge.

Looks great to me. Let us know the next sections to be closed off, I figured they would move on to the top floor or top 2 floors of the longer wing, plus the remaining rooms overlooking the lobby on top floor. We were just there a week ago!
