hi just wondering if anyone knows of any off site parking at port canavaral that you may have used and can recommend , thanks in advance :cool1:

we used http://www.parkportcanaveral.com/ May of 2013 and it was really easy to use. We drove to the site parked, went inside to pay, you unload your luggage and you get to KEEP your keys. Then waited for the bus to take us to the port. The drivers load and unload your luggage. When we got to the port the driver told us where they will be waiting for us after the cruise. They were waiting for us when we got out of the port. They again load and unload the luggage and the driver took us straight to our car. We are using them again in May 2014. Keep checking the website because the price to park could be lower than today's price. If you book at a lower price and the price goes up you wont have to pay the higher price you pay the price that you book at if you are paying later. You can pay now or pay later and if you book at a price and the price goes lower you can cancel the first price and rebook for the lower price.

Hope this helps you out

Sarah

Cheaper than parking at the port

Some of the hotels by the port will sell you at "stay and park" package where you park at the hotel for the duration of your cruise and will shuttle you to the ship -- that can be cheaper than paying day rates somewhere else!

We used ParkPortCanaveral as well. They were good about getting us there, very nice. Only complaint is we stood for a very long time waiting to get back to our car afterwards.

Also if your cruise is a few months out, check their site frequently as their rates change A LOT month to month. You can sometimes get a good rate of around $4 a day but sometimes it's upwards of 8 or 9.

I just used Park-n-Cruise two weeks ago and had a good experience. The price was great (4.99 per day) and their shuttle service was prompt. I plan on using them again.

Be careful about those "deals". The hotel parking lots are not monitored, even though they have cameras mounted. You park at your own risk there.

We parked at the port last year which was extremely convenient and safe, BUT was ridiculously expensive for a 7 day cruise. Not again...
