It's always tougher to be on the points when someone else is controlling the food coming out of the kitchen, I think. You're really lucky to have a cooking husband, though!
I hear you on the grilled cheese. Using all regular food and butter, yowsa, lots of points. Have you tried modifying it so it's more loss-friendly? I like the 2% cheddar as well as the regular stuff at this point. Not that there's anything wrong with using a bunch of points on a favorite, either, if that's what you choose to do.
