Candy Cane Inn Shuttle

We are going to be coming in on a Sat. evening and I thought about doing Downtown Disney and Goofy's Kitchen but didn't know how late the shuttle ran?

Is it every half hour leaving AND coming? Is there more than one? Where does it drop you off over at the bus drop off?

Maybe it would be easier to just drive over to the Downtown Disney Parking Lot...sure is closer!! I remember once on the way down to LB for a cruise we stopped and did that and we were only there for a short time...didn't even have to pay!

Any suggestions?

When we were there earlier this year, the shuttle left and arrived at the Candy Cane Inn on the hour and half hour, and picked up at quarter to and quarter past the hour at Disneyland. The pick up at Disney was where all the other shuttles drop off and pick up. It ran pretty much on time. Last pick up from Disney was about a half hour after the park closed I think, though the driver would always announce it when he dropped us off. Sometimes when he picked up at Disney and the shuttle would fill up, he would make a run to the Candy Cane Inn to empty the shuttle and then come right back to pick up any passengers left waiting.

We did Downtown Disney and Goofy's Kitchen from the Candy Cane Inn but we walked...it is not very far at all.

The shuttle runs until about 30 min. after the park closes. It leaves both CCI and DL every half hour (leaves CCI, goes to DL then leaves DL 15 min. or so later). The shuttle drops you close to where you enter the common area between DL and CA (and the area you access DTD from), there is a lot along the walk way from Harbour Blvd. and the shuttles all drop off and pick up there. It was very busy when we were there but there was always room on the shuttle (as mentioned above, they will come back if there is no room...never happened to us though).

Leaves the hotel promtly at the hour and 1/2 hour. Leaves the park at the 15 and 45. It picks up in the "blue" section- which is the middle of the 3 bus zones. The last one was 45 minutes after park closing when we were there. Even when it closed at midnight. (12:45 shuttle! and yes, we were on it LOL)
