Not to complicate things further, but this was interesting on that idea for the next wave of unknown incentives.
I had read the recommendation to do a purchase within 10 days of the end of the current incentives to have the rescission period to switch over if the new ones were better. Since we would be there mid-May, more than 10 days before the end of the current incentives, and wanted to use an AP instead of tickets I figured the potential incentive changes would probably not be more than the cost of tickets instead of putting that $ toward the APs. Oh well, I thought, but not quite.
Our Guide says since we're doing the split payments that our window to "rewrite the contract" would be open longer and go until that last payment in late July. Sooo, if a better incentive comes along before then we would be able to switch over. That seems hard to believe and I didn't get it in writing, only over the phone so I can't prove it if we needed to, but it's what I was told. So I guess unless a better incentive shows up in August then we'll be in a comfy position to monitor incentives until that 3rd/final payment in late July.
