Davenport?

We're staying in a villa next time over in Davenport. It's just off of US27 and not far from Old Lake Davenport.

How is the area for eateries and supermarkets?

We live in Davenport and LOVE it! Yes there are Publix supermarkets in the area. An enormous Walmart near the intersection of Hwy 192 and Hwy 27. Also a good selection of restaurants. All Disney parks and Disney Springs are minutes away.

We winter in Davenport and travel 27 frequently. As THCreative said, there is a Super Walmart located minutes from you just north of the intersection of 27 and 192. There are a couple of Publix supermarkets near you. We occasionally stop in to the one just south of where you will be at the intersection of 27 and Sand Mine Road. In addition to the usual groceries Publix has an excellent deli section where you can get prepared sandwiches, salads, and hot food. The bakery section is also very good.

There are plenty of places to eat on 192. Just about every national and local chain restaurant has an outlet along 192.
