I wouldn't say the pools were ever to the point where I couldn't see the bottom, but I wouldn't let my kids put their faces in the Mickey pool or put the water in their mouths. Matter of fact, just as quickly as they were off the waterslide, I would steer them toward the Goofy pool, in hopes that older kids knew to use the real potty instead of the pool.
I would say to paranoid parents: use the pools on days at port. The pools are PACKED on "at sea" days.
GILLIAN: Disney had written it in our Navigator each day (I kept my copies if you want me to scan one), and I'm pretty sure it was posted on the signs they had at each pool... including the "No Lifeguard On Duty" sign when there clearly was a lifeguard. LOL
