I've had a break from dieting properly during the summer and I'm away for much of September so won't be joining you this month BUT I'll be back with a vengeance in October!!! See you then... :wave:

I'm still here and desperately trying to lose the last few lbs before our holiday. I did weigh in last week (but didn't get a chance to post) and had put 3lbs on, which isn't bad considering I have not really been dieting over the last few weeks. My aim is to get down to under 11 stone by the time we go away.

I am weighing in on Fridays now so only have 6 more weigh-ins before we go so I really need to lose at least 2lbs a week :rolleyes1
 
I weighed this morning and had STS, which was good after the girly weekend.

Really need to get back to the gym and restart the weight loss proper. 15 more weigh in's till the wedding so if I do 1lb a week I have time to shed another stone.

hi everyone

im still here but ive not had a very good august weight wise:eek: with the kids at home and too much chocolate about :sad2:
ive decided to join a slimming club to see if that will keep me on the staight and narrow so im trying to decide between WW and SW? i think it will be SW because its the class isnt that far away but i need something that will fit in with all the family and help some of us to lose some weight.

if i choose SW then the class is on a thursday morning but if i choose WW then the next class is next monday (think of the amount of weight i could put on in that time).

any one on SW at the moment? how are you finding it?

i will let you know which one i decide on and how i get on

I lost 11lbs... making a total of 70lbs....

September already :scared1: It's my weigh day tomorrow and like Joh I'll only have 6 more weighs until we go away.

I'm really hoping to get to my goal weight by the time we go (or very close to it) so with that in mind I'm counting and tracking everything and being very good.

i havent weighed in for a long time, is it ok if i join again,


I have come back from holiday and decided to give this a real good go this time i really do need to loose some weight , i always seem to manage for around 3 or 4 weeks then give up, does anyone have any ideas how to go about this for the long haul


I have gone back to body optimise (slimming world on line) as it seems to be easier to adapt to fit around all the men in this house !


I will be weighing in on thursdays on the plus side i weigh no more now than i did before i went on holiday so i am pleased with that

Well bad news here I'm afraid - but expected - I managed to find 4lbs this week - a delayed reaction from all my indulgences recently. Unfortunately September has too many social events and birthdays for me to make the best effort possible, but I hope to at least get back to where I was at the end of August, then really get motivated in October when I have very little planned socially. On a positive note I have decided to go back to dancing and attended my first jazz class last night - nearly killed me and I felt ridiculous dancing around in my present "bouncy" state, but I overcame that and got on with it. I will go back to tap dancing on Thursday and also get back on the Wii Fit. Goal for September - return to 10 stone 7 lbs!

Thanks Nat - I will need it. I just really struggle with keeping it up when I am socialising and going away etc. I need to convince myself that the changes necessary are for life and not just for a couple of weeks as no way will the weight stay off if I just pig out whenever I go out or have people round here.
Any tips on how to stay with it for the long haul?
