Disney Store Ticket Offer

Wanted to share some info.

I went to our local Disney Store to look into purchasing Seasonal Passes
for Florida Residents. The CM stated that they had an offer good until
November 24th that when you purchase tickets you will receive a $50.00
Disney gift card for each adult ticket purchased and a Disney "Fun Seekers"
T-Shirt (value $16.00) for each adult ticket purchase.

So the tickets with tax and a Disney Club Discount were $179.14 each. I
purchased 3 adult tickets (child over 9 years old had to go with an adult
ticket). We received $150.00 in Disney Gift Cards and $48.00 worth of
Disney T-Shirts. I was told the gift cards can be given away as gifts or
can be used at any Disney Store ( not Disney Marketplace at Downtown
Disney), or can be used for Disney Catalog purchases or Disney on-line
purchases and cannot be exchanged for cash or Disney Dollars.

This was a nice unexpected bonus with our ticket purchase and I know
the gift cards will come in handy for the holidays. I believe this offer was
for any ticket type purchased in the store. But, please check with your
local Disney Store. I made my purchase at a South Florida Disney Store.

Is the seasonal pass the one only for FL residents that is good for only certain periods?

We purchased the Florida Residents Seasonal Passes
that are valid for 365 days. There are "blackout" periods
for the following dates:

April 7, 2001 - April 20, 2001

June 9, 2001 - August 17, 2001

December 22 - January 3, 2002

March 23, 2002 - April 4, 2002

June 8, 2002- - August 15, 2002

December 21, 2002 - January 4, 2003


You also receive the "Mickey Monitor" Passholder Newsletter
and special offers on dining, merchandise, backstage tours,
more.

It worked out well for us because we travel at least twice
sometimes three times a year in October and early December.
Also, I belive the Disney Store offer is good for other park
ticket purchases not just Florida Residents.
