Does Tower O' Terror have a chicken exit ?

Seat belts as opposed to the lap bar - why'd they change this!??! That's crazy if you ask me. Now I'm all worried that the seatbelts are going to be extremely uncomfortable. Seems to me like it would be easier to just have a bar come down over everyone than deal with fumbling looking for seat belts. Anyone know why this happened?

The problem is that for a small person seated next to a Pooh sized person, the lap bar was a chest or chin bar. I am an adult (but a fairly small one) and when I was seated next to our Pooh sized friends, there was about 10 inches between my lap and the lap bar. If I were a small child, the lap bar would be going across my face. That doesn't sound secure for the little ones and, as stated by the previous poster, I'm sure that some kids banged their chins on the bar (because it was so close to their chins) causing injury.

I take the Chicken Out elevator every time I go! I get the fast passes with my husband and son, and then go through the preview show with them and enjoy all the details of the ride up to the ride itself. Then when we get to the loading of the elevator part, I just tell the ride attendant that I'm not going on the ride. They escort you over to the regular elevator and ride on it with you down to the photo area. I wait here for my husband and son. I keep thinking that "one day" I might actually do the ride - but so far - no go. I must say that when I'm waiting in the hallway near the photo place, everybody coming off the ride is smiling and laughing so it can't be that bad!

They CM will not tease you about the chicken exit. However, when I asked for the chicken exit, one did tell me "I'm sorry, there are no livestock in the building." When we were waiting by the photo area, I saw a picture of a little boy crying, with a death grip on his father, looking terrified. But maybe after it was all over he liked it.
