We've decided to change things up this year. We've got hotel reservations at Bay Lake Towers, but we're going to have our car with us this time (I think we're going to take the Autotrain down), so we figure that instead of getting WDW tickets, we'll aim to just use our timeshare as our base of operations, and just enjoy some other Orlando attractions instead of making a return visit to the Disney parks.

We've been to Universal Orlando several times before, the last time shortly after IoA opened. Most of our visits, though, were corporate parties. We actually visited the parks, ourselves, just the once, and then only for a few days.

We're going the week before Easter, so I suspect the parks will be pretty darned crowded, but we're not park commandos and we won't have a problem standing in queue a bit; we're going there to see what there is to see, get out and around a bit in the warm Florida weather, and generally just spend time with each other.

My wife would love to include a visit to Sea World, if that could be done for no more than $50 extra; otherwise, we'll just stick with Universal Orlando. (I'll be keeping an eye out for discussions that might help use achieve this goal, but if you happen to have a recommendation for me now, with regard to being able to include Sea World for no more than that amount, that would be great!)

We're vegetarians, so I'll also be keeping an eye out for any insights along those lines (and again would welcome pointers now, if you're so inclined). We'll have a one bedroom villa at WDW, so we may aim to do some cooking in the room, but probably not. (I suspect between Orlando traffic and such, we'll probably just aim to get up, have breakfast in the room, and then spend a full day at Universal Orlando, heading back to the villa at the end of the day, rather than considering commuting the 45 minutes each way back and forth midday.)

We're looking forward a great, hopefully-somewhat-relaxing vacation. :cheer2:
