Thanks@I’m not sure of the timing for the party, but you can probably get all your questions answered on the runDisney forum.
On W&D Sunday - the race should be totally finished by 10:00, so there may be some early time where navigating the park means waiting at a crossing point for several minutes to get past the runners. Traffic and road closures makes getting to Epcot a challenge, and the parking lots will be pretty full. Buses sometimes have to take detours because of road closures, so it depends on where you are staying as to how it effects your getting to the park. The party doesn't officially start until after the park closes, so they don't make regular day guests leave early - they will close the park as soon as Harmonious finishes. Party guests will have wrist bands and they are checked starting at 10:00 to get on rides and buy food at the booths etc. Party guests can enter the park pretty early though, like 5:00, so it will be more crowded than a typical Sunday from this time until close.Thanks@
Thanks for the info. We're on the Skyliner route so don't have to worry about traffic but I think we'll just go to Epcot on Tuesday that weekOn W&D Sunday - the race should be totally finished by 10:00, so there may be some early time where navigating the park means waiting at a crossing point for several minutes to get past the runners.
