Thank you so much for the trip report and photos of concierge. Loving it.
Thanks! I am having fun reliving the trip.
Nice update! We've been on quite a few Caribbean cruises, and never get off the ship in Bahamas anymore. I love staying on the ship when most have disembarked.
I noticed that so many folks did not get off the ship in Nassau that it felt like a normal sea day. After we returned home I did heard about a non-Disney tour we would like to participate in the next time we are in Nassau. Of course it involves eating.
This trip, we mostly ate, drank and walked around enjoying the ship. There was much to see with Halloween everywhere.
The famous "Pumpkin Tree".
Disney did a great job of decorating the ship for Halloween. Someday I want to go on a "Merry Time" cruise and see those decorations "up close and personal".
I loved the port holes. I did not have the best phone camera for photos but that has now been corrected. I think having a new phone camera is a great excuse for another cruise. Rob has a professional camera with lots of lens and such but then he is the photographer, I am just a point and shoot type person. I never take time to stop, adjust, focus, adjust and then shoot the photo, which is why mine are often blurry and low lighting. Oh well.
My favorite port hole.
The stores were also decked out for the holiday.
You can spend serious money in Disney's gift shops. If you have a DVC card, a Chase Disney credit card or have sailed enough cruises to be "Gold", you can flash you card and receive a discount on your items, I think it was 10%. Double check though about the Chase Disney credit card, I have not used mine in years so that perk may have disappeared.
Just in case you forgot your pirate gear, you can pick up some in the gift stores, for a price.
We had planned to have a witch on our stateroom door but the magnets would not hold to our Concierge door. We were able to slide the hat behind the porthole and at least had that bit of decoration.
Up next, Concierge happy hour and dinner. But first I need to grade some papers.
