Thank you! Also, Wyndham has been cracking down on rentals and have owner priority reservation periods - March 14-30 2025 is one of them. So if you are going then, unless you know someone to rent from at Bonnet Creek, I'd worry about getting cancelled.
Is the lava pool’s slide too intense/ not an option for a 4 year old? We stayed at a resort this spring that had a slide that he was too small for and it was a nightmare- lots of tears! Definitely don’t want to stay somewhere that has a slide that he can’t go on.Id pick Poly for sure. Two showers, more room, great theming, awesome pool, good food options, ideal location. We always stay in the Tokelau building to have easy access to the monorail, so easy access to 2 parks. But the Poly rooms are in separate buildings from the lobby, unlike Riviera. So something to consider if that bothers you. But I’d pick Poly first, Boulder ridge/wilderness lodge second. Riviera is my least favorite but a lot of people like it
The pool itself is fine for all ages (it’s zero entry) but the slide may be too intense for little kids. There is however a tiki themed kids splash area with a mini slide that would be perfect for a littler kid. There’s also a “quiet” pool that’s basically just a regular pool.Is the lava pool’s slide too intense/ not an option for a 4 year old? Agreed that the splash pad, which has two slides that would be appropriate for a four-year-old, is a big draw. The pool itself is fine for all ages (it’s zero entry) but the slide may be too intense for little kids. With a family of 5, you would need a studio at Boulder Ridge, or a 2BR at Copper Creek. Copper Creek has a hard limit of 4 guests in both the studio and 1BR.Throwing one more option in… Poly, WL or RIviera?

Did your 4 year old have to go down the slide by themselves? Were they able to go with an adult? Thanks! We stayed at the Poly in November and my 4 year old was big enough for the slide at the lava pool but preferred the kids area.
I'd say either Poly for the extra bathroom or Boulder Ridge if you love Wilderness Lodge!
Thank you! I appreciate the info!Four year olds and slides are highly variable. The places with good toddler slides are BCV and I think SSR. The slide at AKL Jambo and BRV are small. BWV only has one slide and its a doozy. But some kids do the doozy slides at a young age and some kids twice their age prefer the smaller slides.
Unless things have changed, Disney does not allow adults to go down slides with kids for safety reasons (its REALLY easy for a little leg or arm to get caught under and adult one and - that usually doesn't end well). They will allow and provide a lifejacket for your kid and they can go down the slide in a jacket. Some lifeguards and some pools are stricter about letting you wait at the bottom to catch.
