Fireworks Boat Ride Question?

On October 12th ..we booked a Private Boat to view Fireworks leaving from Wilderness Lodge. It will just be 2 Adults & 2 Boys 11 & 13 Yrs. Do we Tip ?

We tipped when we did a fireworks cruise on 7/3/16. Our captain was great and I thought he deserved it!

Don't take this the wrong way but if you were the employee working the private boat wouldn't you want a tip. If you wouldn't want someone to tip you then don't tip but I'm going to go out on a limb
and say you would want a tip so the answer is yes. Anytime you don't know if you should tip or not tip put yourself in that person's shoes and that will always give you the answer.

We've done the Illuminations Cruise a couple of times and have definitely tipped well both times ... usually about 40% of the booking cost ... since for both times we've done it we thought the extra services that were done well. When we went Illuminations was before the DS show so they took us back to watch HS fireworks from the boat after watching Illuminations --- while the other boats went back to YC dock immediately after Illuminations. I'm guessing the timing on this will make it one of those YMV based on time of year/availability/ etc...
