First - Timer Question

Myself, my wife and our oldest grand-daughter are going on our first ever cruise this December 14 - 21; the Seven Night Very Merrytime Eastern Caribbean Cruise from Port Canaveral. There's a lot to learn. We will be coming down to WDW a day early (probably staying at POFQ) just because travel from Michigan to Florida in December can be chancy. Here's my question - there's Disney transportation from our resort to Port Canaveral for our cruise departure. But is there some form of Disney transport for when we return on the 21st to the Orlando airport? Thanks for your help.

The recommendation is to always come in the day before because travel is always crazy and you don't want to miss your cruise!

It sounds like they are coming in a day early they’re just wondering about getting back to airport after the cruise.

Yes. Disney will transport you from the Port Canaveral to the MCO airport. You can call and talk to the reservations specialists to get it added to your itinerary. It is the most convenient way to do it. Literally walk off the ship, through customs, and on to your bus. If you have a participating airline, you can even check into your flights and check your luggage while on board the ship too!

Have a magical vacation.

You can also hire a private car service. With multiple people, it is often cheaper than Disney transport. Search the boards. There have been many discussions on this topic in the past.

Disney Transportation is 39pp each way.
The buses run to and from Disney Resorts and the Orlando airport (MCO) and the Terminal in Port Canaveral.
The transportation from the Disney resorts is very convenient but doesn’t pick up until 11:00 or later and may stop at multiple resorts. They usually start boarding the ship 11:30 and the restaurants and pools are open 11:45-12:00 but cabins not available until 1:30
Form the Port to the airport still very convenient but Disney ask the earliest flight not until 11am?? Maybe 12??

This is our favorite scenario. We fly in the day before, stat on WDW property and take the DCL bus to the cruise and then from PC to MCO. DCL handles all of our luggage and all of the driving.
