Flag Day (June 14, 2022)

My I-phone calendar mentions Flag Day, but neither of the two calendars hanging in my house do.

We hang our flag (porch bracket type) if the weather permits.

Last year when I was teaching kindergarten, we did some flag history stuff, an art project, etc.

It also makes me think of my mom's cousin (who we used to visit every summer when I was a kid) because it was her birthday.

My mother says when I was young, I thought people put their flags out for me! (My birthday is June 14.) we’ll put out our flag but otherwise, we don’t do anything.

@Buzz Rules I'm right there with you. I send e-cards to a bunch of people every Flag Day. One year I went to a Flag Day ceremony and another I went an old school house where Flag Day was first celebrated. I've also done red, white, and blue pancakes.
