Looking for more DL food porn, specifically Lobster Nachos from The Cove. I'm trying to get an idea of where to eat at for our DLR trip. So far, that Monte Cristo looks super tasty!

The lobster nachos are amazing!!! Let me see if I have a picture.

Dipped ice cream bar from Clarabelle's in DCA. Chocolate ice cream dipped in dark chocolate with chocolate chips. Did I mention I like chocolate? :rotfl:

Is the chocolate coating as rich as the chocolate on the Mickey bars? (Dove) If it is, I've got to add that to my list!

I have a photo of the nachos.....I thought I had it on FB but I guess not, I'll see if I can get it on here.....

I have always wanted to try the lobster nachos. We are going to Disneyland this Friday (2 days so excited!:cool1:) and plan to eat the lobster nachos. If we do, I will take a pic and post it for you when we return. We won't be back home until Sept 7, so it will be after that, but I see you aren't leaving for 7 months, so that will be plenty of time.

If someone else posts a pic before that, then you will get to see two pics of them. :hyper:

Where is the Cove? Lobster nachos sound intriguing...

Cove Bar is above Ariel's Grotto. Enter as if you are checking into the Grotto and just walk straight back, you come out into the Cove Bar.
I looked for my photos of lobster nachos and couldn't find them, I must have deleted them. :(

Oh Boy, these look amazing. I just started a list in my Calendar App so I won't forget once we are there in Oct!

How funny we went to Slaters 50/50 in Anaheim around the same time

At Carthay Circle Restaurant I had chicken liver and onions w/bacon. It was really good. It came with a salad and yummy vinegerette dressing.

I love food porn!! I have a couple I'll add to the mix.

This is a sundae from the Disney Soda Fountain in Hollywood. It's not in the parks, I realize, but if you're out in California and have time to take away from the parks, it's a fun place to go eat, and see a movie next door at the El Capitan theater.

The Mickey Masterpiece from the Disney Soda Fountain. It had 8 large scoops of ice cream of your choice which was then topped with caramel, chocolate, marshmellow, nuts if you want them, 8 cherries and an entire can of whip cream!

When our waitress brought it out she started yelling something like this: "Ladies, and gentlemen, boys and girls. Let me have your attention. You've read all about it, and you've seen it on the menu, but you've never seen it in person until now! Here it is the one and only Mickey's Masterpiece. (then she went on to describe what was in it) And this brave family over here is going to attempt to eat it all!!"
Everyone near us started clapping. It was a bit embarrassing, but fun.
Even with 6 of us, we didn't come close to finishing it all!

If I could gain weight from looking at all this I would have! :yay: Soooooo yummy looking! Thank you all for posting. I am for sure taking lots of pics when we go in Oct and Dec.

Quick question-

I saw a pic of the toddler meal and it looked like the mac and cheese was the size of the applesauce container??? If it is that itty bitty is it even worth it to buy?

I have a 2 1/2 yo and a 1 yo would it be better to get the kids meal or the toddler one while in the parks?

TIA!:grouphug:
