Other than that I would've been clueless to what you guys were talking about!

I got to see Lucky when he was at AK and it was VERY cool!!!!!! I loved Lucky. I had my 6 year old niece with me on that trip and a couple months later she missed a question on a test about dinosaurs being extinct and when my sister asked her about it she said the put they weren't extinct because what about Lucky at Animal Kingdom?

I want to check and see if he will be there when we are this next time. They said something in Modern Marvels how Lucky is touring the Disney Parks worldwide...But this seemed (since they were just discussing the construction of Everest not taking folks on an actual ride), like it was older info.

Yea, that Modern Marvels is from 2005 and that is when Lucky was touring the parks for the Happiest Celebration Disneyland 50th. I haven't heard anythying about him touring again lately.

That is sad. I am sure there are technological reasons for it, but that would have been awesome to see him in action!

Yep, we just watched the Modern Marvels last week! I had it on my to do list for TONIGHT to look on the DIS and find out where Lucky is right now, Lucky looked sooo fun to see, but I guess Lucky isn't so Lucky... to be stored away

I also watched Modern Marvels a few weeks ago and was blown away. Him and his handler reminded me of the dinosaurs in Dinotopia. My DH saw it as well and he said that Lucky would be cool to see. I had a bad feeling at the time that he wasn't around anymore, even touring the world, because the show was older. Bummer.
