If you happen to be in the military or a DoD civilian, you can purchase Hopper Passes at a discount pretty close to what one can get from AAA or other club memberships. HOWEVER... one of the things I discovered last week at WDW was if you were also staying at SOG or any Disney resort, you can get Stars and Stripes passes (basically they're a UMP or length of stay pass) for a few dollars more.

For instance, I could have purchased a 4 day adult hopper pass for $185 or get a 4 day Stars and Stripes pass for $188, which added admission to the water parks, Pleasure Island, and DisneyQuest. You can also get them for longer stays as well. You can pick them up at SOG no earlier than 5pm the day before you want them to start. You must also show your military/DoD civilian ID and resort registration form to purchase the tickets.
