"Have a nice Day" - Day 2

Today we got up early to EMH at Hollywood Studios. I still call it MGM

At rope drop we headed straight to Toy Story and joined the fast pass area to come back between 10.20 - 11.20. After this we headed straight to RocknRoller which, although I have been on before was dreading. I nearly chickened out when we were waiting for the car to pull up but did get in the car. It was at this point I would have been quite happy to get off if they had technical faults. It seemed a lot faster than before and I think the music helps - Kevin and Lauren love this ride - they also love rollercoasters more than I do

After RNR we go round a few shops and get a frozen lemonade, which is really refreshing and then head to ToyStory. I have to say we all enjoyed this ride and it has to be one of my fav rides now. The only disappointment is that you cant see the others in the car attached to you, so it mean we couldnt see how Kevin was doing on points.

We then went to watch Indiana Jones. Kevin and I havent seen this since 1991 and Lauren hadnt seen it at all. It was still good. The extras that they included in the show included a guy who had come back from serving in Iraq and he got an amazing applause.

We only stayed at HS for the morning, it was getting really hot and we decided, as we dont like eating at this park we would go to DTD and eat at Earls, our favourite sandwiches at Disney. In fact we ate at Earls 3 times on this trip

After lunch we went round the shops and then headed to Goofys Candy Store to make some treats with our snack credits. Lauren had a gingerbread Mickey and I had the marshmallows.

After this we went back to the hotel for a rest and then returned to DTD to see if we could get a reservation at TRex. Fortunately we arrived before everyone else had the same idea and were seated quite quickly. We really enjoyed this food, although not on the dining plan. We enjoyed watching the meteor shower and the dinosaurs. I especially liked the baby woolly mammoths.

I agree, the food looks fab. We were hoping to eat here but couldn't really fit it in anywhere! Next time!!

TBH I hadn't thought about eating here (tho' I wanna build-a-dino) but the food looks so yummy might have to try and squeeze it in...

I never used to know where to eat in DHS but I discovered they do a couple of decent salads in the Toy Story Pizza Planet as well as the pizzas...

T-rex is probably one of our favourite places to eat in Florida. We managed to get a couple of trips in last visit and have one booked for October (but are hoping for more )
I had the boneyard buffet - which is those ribs plus half a chicken. Needless to say it didn't look as if I had touched it before I was full. I've never had a burger there tho - and that pic is making me think I might try one next time.

We were enjoying ourselves in one of the parks when we had reservations for T Rex and so didn't go, I really wish we had!
