How do you get to cabin?

I'm not sure if this is a dumb question or not. We are not taking a rental car. We are staying in a cabin. We will be arriving by a limousine service.

How do we get ourselves (6 of us), and our luggage to the cabin after check-in?

Great question! And I don't have the definitive answer. I suppose either they'd let the limo through the gate, or (and more likely) a CM would escort you and yours on a cart. Could always call FW direct and ask them!

I guess I should call them. I was hoping that I could get an answer here though, LOL.

I am getting so excited and nervous at the same time. I planned our whole trip and the funny thing is, last year was my 1st time ever to WDW!!!

I just hope I made good decisions and thank god for everyone on this board

The Cast Members are great about assisting guests. The taxi can drop you at the reception outpost. After you check in, a CM will take you to the cabin in a cart.

You don't wan't the taxi/limo to wait for you as you check in or you will be paying a "wait fee"

Remember to keep the reservation form out and available when you get in the taxi because either the CM at the Magic Kingdom gate or the guard at teh back gate will need to see it to let the taxi in with you.

You will need a photo ID of the person whose name the reservation is in at the guard shack. But it is a good idea to have your confirmation info handy for check in just in case there is a problem. The CMs will take you to your room in either a cart/s or one of the company vans. They will also come pick you up at check out.

Thank you! I see you have a trip on the way too.

I don't know if I'm more excited, or more nervous. Last year was my 1st trip, did not take kids. I stayed at the CBR. I really wanted to stay at the Poly or AK, but did not feel comfortable paying for 2 rooms.

At least this way, we can save some $$ by having the kitchen, and on our non-park days there will be plenty to do at FW.

You picked a great place to stay. The cabins are wonderful, cozy, convenient and the campground is beautiful! You won't be disappointed! ENJOY!!
