Twice a pub and someone home.
I've been asked to leave a customer's house when I was called to a meeting to diffuse a situation of extreme conflict for one of my Technicians. The guy was very unreasonable in his demands and I couldn't give him what he wanted. There was also an element of culture clash and he was not happy to be dealing with a woman in a position of authority.
That sounds like something I would do. You’d think they’d have them sectioned off so people couldn’t touch them, but then again, I’m not very familiar with those types of museums In Amsterdam.Once.
I was kicked out of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam when I was 18. I very gently touched a painting with the tip of my finger. The thick paint was so compelling my hand reached out before I even had a second to think. Screamed at in Dutch by a guard and pushed out the front door. My choir director was furious with me.
We went on to visit many other museums during that trip, but I never went closer than 8-10 feet from a painting or sculpture. Didn't trust myself. Too tactile a person, I guess. I rarely have gone back to museums after that time, come to think of it.
Nowadays we often do, below a picture of the Van Gogh Museum. That sounds like something I would do. You’d think they’d have them sectioned off so people couldn’t touch them, but then again, I’m not very familiar with those types of museums In Amsterdam.
