i know that this probably sounds rediculous BUT i dont want to carry water bottles and snacks all around the parks. it will be just me and my 5 yr old DS. i will also have a camcorder and a 35mm camera to carry around. and i am just thinking that i dont really want to lug all sorts of stuff around the parks! so how much do you think i will need to budget for just the two of us each day? ooh and we will be there in july! thank you all!

For 2 people I would budget $15 per day.
When I told my MIL I had budgeted $20 for quick brkfst for 4, $30 for counter service and $75 for PS meal each day she told me I also needed to budget for snacks. So I added another $25 for each park day.

The snacks budget really depends on how much you eat. Often you can really pig out in those character breakfasts or buffets. I have been able to go through the day, pretty much, needing just a drink or two until night time after a hearty breakfast.

I hate to go around carrying bottles. I am willing to pay a few bucks to get a drink and keep my hands free, not feeling like a bag lady.

So, if you eat a lot, plan on a higher amount of money for snacks. If you do not, even $20.00 covers you the rest of the day after a good meal.

Worm761,
We are in the same situation. Just me and my 9 year old DD and I don't want to carry a bunch of stuff around. Like you said the camcorder, camera and have to stuff will be enough. Last year we hooked our resort mugs to our fanny packs to get free ice in. It stayed colder longer than the water bottles and it was free. So that is wht we plan to do this year. DD even carried her own mug on her fanny pack.
Since we will have a nice meal everyday I don't expect to spend more than $20 and that is because I got to have a diet soda now and then.
Also, depending on what time of year you go depends how hungry you will get. We went in August and didn't eat a bunch of snacks, plus not big sweet eaters. DD ate at least one or two ice creams daily. that was the big snack cost.

thank you all for answering so quickly. i am not a big eater but my son is a whole different story. he has been growing ALOT lately. averaging a quarter inch every 3 weeks. but in the heat i am guessing he will eat less. i budgeted $800 for food for the week for the two of us. and plan on doing breakfast in the room. all in all i think i have done pretty good with this trip. it has just been thrown together in the last two weeks. my original plans were ruined. but that is ok. anyway the way i have it figured it will cost me $2000 including everything but souviniers!

Worm761,
I have figured just about the same for us.
We have 9 nights at All Stars Music $49 a night
6 day plus hoppers
and I figure it will cost about $50 a day for food
plus $20 for snacks a day.

DD has $20 a day for what ever she wants to buy.
And I figure the total cost is close to $2000.
Have fun
