We had a Rockwood Roo that we loved and it was emotionally hard for me when we traded it in after only two years for the reason that we love cold-weather camping and camping in bear country. It did us well camping in the cold, even in temps near 0, but camping in bear country meant we kept the sides closed and used the table-bed and jack-knife.
Although we never got it to FW, we camped on a black top at Circus Circus in Las Vegas in September. Temps were in the hundreds, and the dogs were nice and cool in the camper.
I’m so excited for you and your family and the adventures to come!
