We just returned on 10/22 after a wonderful week in the World. We had some good and some Great meals nothing was really bad.

Cast : Me (or Mom as I'm known to my group)
DH (he tried to stick with Atkins for the week)
DD1 (turned 12 day before we left)
DD2 10

10/15 Mama Melrose FDP-----------B-
food was very good, but portions seemed small, I had
pasta and DH had Steak, kids all had chicken nuggets.
We got a family salad to share, a very nice flatbread
and all got dessert. Service was a little slow here. Had
a 4:30 PS and didn't leave until almost 6:30. Good but
nothing special.

10/16 Crystal Palace lunch--------B+
DH and kids really loved this place. The buffet was
plentiful and the characters were great. Good selection
of hot items and desserts. I thought the carved meats
were a little tough, but other selections were great.

LTT dinner--------------------A-
I really enjoyed this place alot. Food was great and
characters were dressed in costume for MNSSHP. Ham
was a little dry, but turkey and beef were great. sides
were also very tastey. Waitress was a zombie and
played the part well. Service was very good.

10/17 Chef Mickey brkfst----------B+
Food was usual buffet stuff-very tastey and plentiful.
Characters were marvelous. We saw everyone once
and Minnie came by twice. Loved the celebration and
napkin twirling. This was the kids' favorite!!

Biergarten dinner----------C+
Food was excellent, and show was fun. I only give
this a low grade because the kids hated it. My kids
are not that picky, and there was not much here for
except chicken and bratwurst (which they hated).
For just adults I'd love this place, but won't go back
with kids.

10/18 Flame Tree lunch-----------B
Excellent deal with the value meal. BBQ chicken salad
was OK, but skimpy on chicken. DH said ribs were the
drier tougher kind but tasted good, kids had hot dogs.

California Grill---------------A+
This was parents' favorite ( maybe because we dined
alone ). Suberb food and great view. We sat in the
wine room, which was ok because our room had a MK
view and this gave us a look at the other side.
We had sushi for the first time, and we're hooked!
I had ravioli appetizer, and DH had shrimp, both
excellent. We watched fireworks before our entree,
and the experince was breathtaking. I had pork
tenderloin and Dh had ribeye. The pork was superb
and the polenta was like ambrosia. Dh's ribeye was
huge which made him happy. We followed our
waitresses suggestion for wine and they were
excellent. Dessert was the warm chocolate cake with
molten center-to die for. We were able to see Epcot
fireworks during dessert. I think our total bill was
about $200.00 and worth every penny!

Thanks for the reviews. How did your DH do with Atkins--did he find it easy to stay on, or was he really tempted?? (I'm doing Atlins, and planning a trip to WDW)

You didn't have better experience at Mama Melrose's, it is one of our favorites. Thanks for sharing your reviews I enjoyed reading them.:wave2:
