This is actually rather common.
It can (and does) happen at any of the stage shows.
It is often a quite minor (thank goodness) technical issue (and fortunately not usually an actor mishap,) but since ALL of the lighting, music and special effects are
tied to one central timecode-synced system, if there is any glitch, they have to cancel the show to reboot everything back to "Cue #1."
Not an IT guy, but I am surprised that the whole system would require a reboot to the beginning. Seems we have the technology to be able to skip to any point. No?
