Non Smoking - Have I missed something?

Haven't been on the the boards much lately, but today I've read two different posts that seem to make reference to a no-smoking policy. I'm not trying to start anything here, but has Disney initiated a new policy?

All Disney resorts, including DVC resorts are going non-smoking in the rooms and balconies on June 1. There will be designated smoking areas at each resort.

Smoking discussions are currently running on the Resorts Board and Community Board. There is also an announcement on the DVC member website. As this is not a DVC specific topic, smoking discussions do not meet DVC Board criteria.
