NOVEMBER 2012 Trip Planners Thread~ Everybody is Welcome~Part 3 already!

So I was just sitting down and looking at my ADR's on my spreadsheet, I am thoroughly confused! I have 3 possible nights for BOG and THEN when I figure that out everything else will fall into place. I have no like like 29 ADR's and I only need like 18. I have to cancel them soon so I hope that tomorrow when I see the menu, that will help me decide if I should wait and book or just get out of Dodge!

After booking my CP Pkg today I had to cancel 5 ADRs. I so want to book BOG so I can decide for sure when I want to do MVMCP.

CP is Dec 1 Tutto Italia @ 4:45 pm for the 8:15pm show with Whoopie

So, I kind of jumped the gun and made my reservations but I feel bad because I have an online buddy that is a travel agent and I really want her to get the commission. I was afraid that AoA would be all booked before she got to it. So is it too late to keep my reservation but add an agent?! Is there any real advantage to having an agent other than the agent gets money? We aren't doing any ADR, only QS.

No no other advantage other then the agent gets money..... and you already have FDing? right? other then going through your agent not disney to change your ressie or add discounts, there is no other advantage

It depends on the agent for extra perks..... but you can have her send you a transfer sheet and she can become your agent. Many agents offer a gift card or some little freebies of sorts and the big thing is you are supporting a small business. I would much rather see the money (and it's not a lot by the way) go to the agent rather than all to Disney..they get enough of it as it is.
Many agents can give you some tips you may not have known about and help you with any problems.
if it is a friend, she will probably feel a little sad that you didn't book with her too. But transferring it to her is just as good.

Not true at all...but it also depends on the agent.

mommyof3princesses27- Thanks so very much for keeping us all updated and for your hard work on this thread. I truly do appreciate all the time and effort you place in this and for all of us. I too, have room for BOG built in...I just hope I am going to be lucky enough to be there when it opens. I can't wait to see what will be on menu- should be interesting. I guess it will be another day of anticipation tomorrow....guess I know where I'll be spending the day, lol!!!

Well, after a series of FIASCOS this morning, we are doing CP on Friday, 11/23. Have a 4:30 at Tutto Italia for the 8:15 show, Isabella Rosselini.

Yes, this thread is FANTASTIC. I've only been here since page 19 of part 1, but it's been nothing but nice. Helpful, friendly, not a drop of drama or nastiness. BEST thread on the DIS IMO! Thanks for starting it and doing such a fab job, mommyof3Princess27!!!!

I think just my arrival date is listed (probably because I was unsure what we were doing when I first joined in). We are staying from November 3-11 at WL CL. No MVMCP for us



Lol, I think we will be on here for a while after our trips to give our reviews and trip reports and help each other over the Post Disney Depression. We will have to help each other plan our next trip. I'm not sure if we will do Disney again right away or not. We will see how things go. DH is not a Disney lover yet but he's never been with me before

We are going to plan on doing Beaches Turks and Caicos again in June of 2015 (how's that for planning ahead, lol) for DD's HS graduation. We will see what other trips we can add to the mix.



We re booked at WL Cl and sooo excited about it! If you are seeing it online I would just book it and then cancel your old booking. You won't have to redo all of your ADR's.

Keep calling the year I switched our Std room @ AKL for a 1 Bdrm the same thing happened to me . two different CM's said they did not see it as available finally the 3rd CM I talked to found it. Not sure why maybe cancelled rooms take longer to show up on CRO than online. Good luck

Thanks,.. I am gonna keep calling--I was going to just do it online tonight. If I want just the room it'll send me on through like it should to the booking part, but if I try to add park tickets or dining it says "room not available with this package"....I will wait a couple of days and see what we get then...maybe by Friday I will be able to get a diff answer. I did call again this evening hoping that the 3rd time would be a charm, but no luck.

DH and I have been in November one other time, Dec one other time, Sept. many times, Oct twice and April once. We love the empty parks in September, but the heat can be brutal! Nothing wrong with looking ahead, either. That's what keeps us going.

We had such an active Sept thread last year that many of us continued afterward for a while.

I just want to say how nice it is to have a thread like this one to go to and know you're going to get your questions answered, no one is going to flame anyone, and there's nothing but happy people sharing their love for Disney and hoping the best for everyone. It's safe here.

I have a future daughter daughter in law. My oldest proposed to his girlfriend tonight. And we are so, so happy. She just fits.

Ahhhh, it is so stressful. Last night I cancelled all my doubles and I was literally cringing while I was doing it, thinking oh but maybe I should just hold on to them all but I let them go... it was getting too confusing looking at them all.

Dying for the announcement tomorrow!
