It is currently a work in progress but I am adding some Cruise Parking and Hotel w/ Transfers options to the informational postings. Let me know if you have any options you know about that you would like added to help out your fellow cruisers get to the ship on embarkation day.

DH and I just did a test run for the: Parking in NJ & Ferry to the Port -
PORT IMPERIAL / WEEHAWKEN TO MIDTOWN W. 39TH ST.

We did it on a Sunday the same day we will be departing on our Disney cruise.

Everything worked out perfectly and the drive to and from the parking garage from our home in South Jersey to the ferry was very easy. The walk from the ferry to pier 88 was shorter then I thought it would be and it is all on a clear walking path.

If anyone is interested in doing this option and has any questions I would be happy to try and answer them. :goodvibes

Yes!

NYFerry actually runs a nice bus system within Manhattan that connects "its" terminal at 39th St to/from multiple locations within Midtown. FWIW, Manhattan Cruise Terminal is 8~9 blocks (.4 miles) north, and depending on the route, may also be on some of the bus lines. Many of the buses will get you to/from 44th & 12th Ave so that's more than halfway.
http://www.nywaterway.com/Busstopsschedules.aspxThere is no charge and the buses are relatively frequent.

Note that getting at taxi at disembarkation time (8:30~9:00am on a weekday) may be very difficult as drivers are more focused on higher revenue runs from the UES and UWS residential areas, and most riders from the MHT will only be going to the PA Bus Terminal or NY Penn Station rail terminal.

Welcome @DisneyConvert! Will you be joining us on this sailing? Would like to join our Fish Exchange if one happens this sailing? :goodvibes

Thank you for the added information about the ferries bus transportation. This is great for those arriving a day early and like to explore or get to their hotel. We haven’t tried out the free bus transportation yet but might have to sometime before our cruise to explore the city more. We did a walking tour from the ferry to the port and then walked to Times Square, The Disney Store, M&Ms store, Madame Tussaud’s and Rockefeller Center before walking back to the ferry. :goodvibes

Not on this one . . . but we are leaving from NYC to Bermuda on Oct 31st (pirate:!) on the repo down to San Juan.
We did the 5-night Bermuda & back in 2019 which seems forever ago, and yes, it was a perfect short cruise!
Have fun.

Was wondering if Fish Exchanges are still not allowed during our sailing would anyone be interested in doing a magnet exchange? You place a magnet on everyone’s stateroom door that is part of our Exchange and you will get one in return.

Thought this may be helpful to some. I looked up what ships will be in the Bermuda ports while we are there and found that the Mariner of the Sea will be porting with us. We set to arrive at 8:00am on Oct 18th and they are set to arrive at 3:00pm that day. If you have any plans for the island I would recommend that you do it our first day. Once the Mariners the Seas arrives it is going to get more crowded. I included a photo clip and link below of the schedule.
